Great location and easy access to several attractions. Took a Lyft to Strand St. The dining and drink prices are too high. I suggest you dine & drink elsewhere. There are other dining venues close by.

This is from their website, Hotel Galvez & Spa. Hotel Galvez & Spa A Wyndham Grand Hotel welcomes two dogs up to 25 lbs for an additional fee of $100 per stay. Dogs are not permitted in the lobby and cannot be left unattended in rooms. Cats are not permitted.
