Where do I begin? Room was dirty. Safe did not work. Tv did not work. Shower drain was clogged. Indoor pool was broken. Hot tub was cold. Gym was occupied by unsupervised kids that were using all the exercises equipment. Horrible!!! Never again.

Hotel's Favourite
With a recent opportunity to have another staycation in Dallas, I decided to go to the Hilton Anatole as I have had 2 great past experiences and I wanted to come back for more. Just like the previous time I got offered an upgrade to a deluxe room before check-in. Having a great time with the upgrade last time I went for it. I also enjoyed selecting my room. Upon arriving the staff was very friendly and provided the hospitality Hilton is known for. The room was spotless upon entering and everything was in very good condition. I really liked my view even if it wasn’t the downtown skyline too. The bed was also extremely comfortable and clean. Just like last time I also realIy enjoyed waking up to a view all around me. I was happy to see Media Grill reopened too and the food was great. All the staff I interacted with after check-in were also amazing, Larry and Sheila especially provided amazing service at breakfast too, better than any other hotel I’ve been to as a matter of fact. The grounds are also beautiful and spotless, and they also provide plenty of elevators in both buildings. I did have my keycard deactivate on me one time, but the front desk re-activated it without hesitation, and were apologetic about the situation. This hotel has definitely become my go-to hotel for staycations, and I always recommend this hotel when I am asked where to stay in Dallas. If you are looking for a hotel in Dallas I highly recommend the Hilton Anatole, you will not be disappointed!

In the name of Covid, the hotel doesn’t recognize customer service anymore. They shut down the executive lounge and just give $12 for breakfast credit for Diamond members. All around the world Diamond members have breakfast fast included without any cap. Here, they made their own rules and blamed Hilton corporate. Talked to the assistant director front desk and he plainly refused to allow the breakfast option for Diamond members, and rudely told me to transfer my reservation somewhere else, like he is all full and doesn’t care about the customer’s business. I wonder why would anyone stay there and pay that high price with resort fees? All activities are closed, no lounge, still paying resort fees. I got stuck since its too late but warn other people to do research before booking. At least, hotel management should provide good customer service and should work with the customer.

Amber, the front desk clerk, set the tone for my stay. She was friendly, engaging and a wealth of knowledge. I found the same friendliness from the restaurant staff too. The hotel is gorgeous! You can find beautiful Asian artwork from Thailand, Vietnam, China etc. everywhere. There is also a HUGE section of the Berlin Wall on display and a large propeller from WWI.
