Stayed one night, would definetly like to stay again. City views were great and the location was within walking distance from many site seeing opportunities and great restaurant locations. Staff was very attentive as well.

I had a 9 night stay at the Cambria for work. The room was fine and the location was great- despite what other reviews say I found the area to be very walkable. The service, though, was lacking. Over 9 nights, housekeeping never once came to my room without me specifically requesting it. If they were on a reduced staffing schedule, that was never communicated to me by the front desk. Over the course of one day I had to talk to the front desk 3 separate times to ask them to send housekeeping to my room for more coffee and to take out the trash. I was totally prepared to have a mediocre stay that I never left a review here for, but there were two incidents toward the end of my long stay that were completely unacceptable. 1. My bank put a hold on my card due to suspicious activity. The hotel attempted to charge me, and it was declined. Instead of communicating this to me via one of the MANY forms of contact they had for me, they instead chose to wait until I requested my car from valet so I could drive to a meeting. I waited the 10 minutes it was supposed to take for my car, then went downstairs where the valet told me the front desk needed to talk to me. Assuming it was about the card, I went to the desk to sort out the problem and after waiting 5 minutes for someone to help me, gave them the new card. Only then did they give my keys to the valet for him to even BEGIN collecting my car. I was very late for my meeting over an extremely avoidable issue. 2. Problem number 2 came the morning of my departure. I confirmed the night before with valet that they arrived at 6:30 am (good luck to anyone with an early flight). It was later than I was hoping to leave for my flight and it would make for a rushed morning, but would have been manageable. At 6:30 I put in the valet request, then went downstairs where valet was nowhere to be found. The two women at the front desk gave me the keys and told me my car was in the parking garage a block away. One did ask me if I wanted security to walk with me, since it was dark and I had all of my belongings with me, but oh wait- security wasn’t there either. The valet showed up as I was getting ready to start walking, thankfully, but by the time I got my car I was running 25 minutes behind. The only reason I didn’t miss my flight was because it was delayed 20 minutes. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else, either. There are tons of hotels in the area that I have to assume are better managed than Cambria.

I stayed two nights here while visiting Dallas for the first time. Upon checking in, I was recognized as a Choice Privileges member and upgraded to a room on the top floor (22nd) with awesome views of downtown Dallas. The room itself was huge with a very comfy king bed and lots of pillows. The room also had a safe, fridge, and coffee maker. The bathroom was also quite large. Only a small complaint: the glass wall of the shower didn’t extend far enough and let out water onto the floor. Not a big deal but i kept a towel there every time I showered to keep the water from going all over. They also checked my bags after I checked out so that I could continue sightseeing until it was time for my flight. I would absolutely stay here again, every employee was extremely friendly and helpful.
