Our Daughter sent my Husband and I for my Birthday. When we arrived there was absolutely no drinks no cups or anything. When we arrived the a/c wasn’t working but we were not told upon checking in the room was hot so went out and returned by about 8 pm when we opened the door we were hit with a blast of cold air we tried to adjust it even tried to turn it off but nothing because it was so cold we were very cold. So I called the front desk and was told to try a couple of things nothing worked. Finally the front desk said they would send engineering up after a hour and a half still freezing no engineer I went to get ready for bed and when I flushed the toilet water came flying out and was running into the floor. So we called the front desk advises that now not only were we still freezing their bathroom was flooding. She said she would send engineering up i asked if he was really coming she assured me he would. I told the right thing todo would be to move us it would be a pain but it would be better she refused and followed with and we discount nothing. I would advise you to choose another hotel we live in the area it was a small staycation so I know we will never stay there again nor will I book it for any members of my family or staff.

I'm going to give them a little leeway here considering the CDC just loosened guidelines so MAYBE the hotel is just not used to this kind of volume anymore. It could be possible that our room was sitting empty for a while if not a year but we don't know that for sure. Positives- very convenient location. You can walk to so many options and normally rent city scooters. Lobby is pretty. Staff was friendly. Adjoining coffee shop is nice. Room was clean & I liked that it was set up like a small apartment. You could comfortably live there for a little while. Negatives- A lot of noise from the street. People are constantly revving their engines when they pass the square/your room. Queen suite is large but pretty basic. Nothing special or particularly pretty about it. Our A/C was broken. Our room was hot when we arrived so we cranked it and went out to dinner. When we came back it was still hot. Engineering came quickly and fixed it in about 10 minutes. When we woke up to take a shower the tab you pull up was rusted shut. We had to wait for an hour for maintenance to fix it. He was nice but it was very annoying to have to sit around and wait to take your morning. Valet took about 20 minutes. 2 of the 4 elevators were broken. The wait was never under 5 minutes for one. Room cost was $259 total was $357 after all of the taxes, fees and $32 parking charge. It wasn't an overall negative experience but we see zero reasons to go back. Especially with so many options in the area

On the go most of the time but I need comfort when I’m in. I had a great suite for 2 weeks and loved every bit of it. I understand the downsizing on housekeeping during this pandemic but got everything I needed and asked for. Thank you for making my stay extra special, Garland! I will definitely come back!

I will start my review by the shocking fact that they do not provide anything in your room NOT EVEN A BOTTLE OF WATER. And even more shocking NO WATER TO EVEN BUY IN THE HOTEL now put this into context. No water?? I stay in around 5 hotels per week and I leave reviews if they are outstanding or outrageous. In this case outrageous. To add to this Rude staff Uncleanliness in the rooms Had not even replaced the body wash and shampoo in the shower cubicle, they were screwed on the wall but not been refilled. The room smelt musty In pure shock in how bad this hotel is now and when I spoke to the front desk manager Garland White he simply told me the hotel was under new management and things did need working on!! but yet you are still charged the full amount. This is not and should not be an excuse. The hotel Manager Kevin Gilbert has been made aware of how bad this place really is. Looking at some of the other reviews it seems they may have been under previous management.

I never write reviews but I have always loved this hotel and it's a shame to see it not living up to previous stays. First the valet was awful the entire stay. Each time it took between 30 and 60 minutes to get our car. Even trying to call for us didn't work since no one picked up. I understand in a covid environment, the limitations on housekeeping. But 3 towels for a double room for the entire stay is just not great planning. Also, if you're not providing housekeeping, please make sure that the soap dispensers are full prior to check in. I was disappointed that the bar and restaurant were closed due to water damage but there was very little accommodation for that issue or to improve guest experience. Also 2 working elevators during covid was a bit much with people cramming into them. All in all ,I'll rethink this stay in the future.
