The most unfriendly person I've ever met in Milne Bay Province is the expat woman who appears to (albeit very poorly) manager this place. From being accused of "not seeing management upon arrival" (we never had a chance; she was already yelling at us) to being informed that "we've just been robbed of $30,000" hence the reason she was jumpy (the currency in PNG is the Kina by the way!), I found myself having to reassure this odd character that I wasn't here to rob the resort and actually just wanted to spend money! Check-in took 4 hours (there were only 2 sets of gusts), there was no hot water and dinner was severely overpriced. The local staff are otherwise friendly and helpful but the expat manager needs to go.

This is a completely renovated resort with nice villas, hardwood floors, super clean, good beach and jetty. The island is small but hilly, so nice place for a hike. There is a skull cave on the top too. Bar is well stocked with local and international beers and wines. Can take boat trips to nearby tiny islands.

This island is beautiful and the owners and locals are very friendly. Fell in love with the island and will be back again. The Neville families were lovely and the resort very appealing. The bungalows were wonderfully cool in the heat of the day and the view from their front decks was incredible. The snorkeling was better than Mystery Island and Great Barrier Reef and better still - was just at our doorstep.
