We’ve been to Belize a number of times but this was our first stay at Blancaneaux. You travel down a rough road to get there, but the resort is absolutely lovely. Expect rustic luxury- no air con, open air villas overlooking a stream. Great bird...More

I did not hear of a private jacuzzi. There is bird life around the resort and my wife and a guide saw a fresh jaguar foot print on a day hike. This is a lovely resort but is far from "civilization." It is self-contained, even to having its own organic garden. All the sights are by day trips and be well advised, bring walking shoes, rain gear, insect and sun repellent, a water bottle, etc.
