Our stay at the charming Ella's Cottage at Charnwood Cottages was just what we needed. Relaxing and private with all the Yarra Valley's attractions a short drive away. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The breakfast provisions were more than adequate. Highly recommended for a romantic and private getaway.

What a lovely place. A charming and relaxing place stay. So clean well and appointed. The attention to detail and the little extras make for a wonderful break. Great location, privacy and beauty. A short walk across the Yarra via the swing bridge to the shops is so handy. Lovely walk along the track beside the river is worth doing. We rode the Lilydale to Warburton trail and really appreciated the comfort and convenience of the cottage. Highly recommend staying here.

Stunning!! Loved every moment at Charnwood cottages. We stayed 2 nights in the gorgeous Savannah suite. It is charming & romantic, we loved the chocolates & flowers in our room awaiting our arrival. The spa & fluffy bathrobes were also amazing! We loved relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine gazing at the mountains. Thanks to Belinda for catering to our every whim & even booking us a massage in our cottage! Can't wait to come back early next year. I have stayed in almost all of the b&b's in the area & the Charnwood cottages is by far the most luxurious. Thanks again!

Lovely B &B in Warburton, we both loved all the little touches of umbrellas, spare keys, sunscreen, lollies etc. The room was very cosy and had a romantic feel to it and closely located to everything in town. Only issue was the lack of curtains or blinds on a couple of windows in the room. So at 530-6am it was bright daylight in the room which when you're on a break sometimes sleeping in is awesome to relax properly. Also the driveway is extremely steep so not great for those with mobility aides. We would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed in one of the cottages and our friends stayed in the other cottage for three nights, well what I lovely stay it was the cottages had everything you would need and a short walk to the town centre was an absolute bonus the only minor complaint is you get a bit of road noise from the highway but the soothing sound of the river flowing just outside the cottage more than made up for that and the owners were friendly as well

Spent 2 nights here in September in the Savannah Cottage and it was very enjoyable. The cottages are very comfortable and very well appointed with luxury sheets, towels and bath robes. There was a large spa bath in the main room as well as a very large bathroom with double shower. Kitchen was setup well and the included breakfast was very nice. I like the cook your own approach as it meant you could get up and eat when you wanted. We sat outside on the balcony to eat breakfast and enjoyed the views of the river and Swing Bridge. It was an easy walk across the Swing Bridge into the main street of town where there are places to eat and shop. There were a number of walks in the area but easiest was the loop around the town that follows the river on both sides of town on a clearly

We spent 3 lovely nights in the charming Savannah cottage. Every detail has been considered with luxurious bathrobes, sheets & towels. Lovely breakfast provisions & the thoughtful little extras. We were provided helpful information on local attractions & places to eat. Whether it be curled up with a good book or relaxing in the spa, this was a beautiful place of respite from a busy work schedule. We also enjoyed the rainforest top walk and browsing the local shops. Jeanette was lovely & offered assistance if it should be needed. The heating was on ready for our arrival on a cold wintery afternoon. A retreat we would happily revisit.. Thank you. Jo & Michael

Stayed two nights for a wedding anniversary and loved the cottage. Great location, with views of the river and only a short walk into the shops and cafes. The cottage was beautifully presented with great attention to detail and the provision of little extras that makes one feel special. Very happy to recommend and will return in the future.

Our first trip to Charnwood Cottages and we stayed in the Savannah cottage one of the Charnwood Cottages. The hospitality was fantastic ensuring a perfect stay. The area is beautiful with nice walks along the riverside and its also a very interesting place. The cottages are well organised and beautifully decorated and extremely clean and well cared for. We loved the spa bath. my favourite Cottage is the Savannah although both are beautiful. Breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun overlooking the river and the trees was very relaxing. We will definitely be going again- its fantastic

We returned to Charnwood Cottages again this early summer to enjoy the beautiful walks by the river and the amazing hospitality of Mike & Jeanette. This time we took our parents for the ride along and they also stayed at Charnwood in the Savannah cottage. All in all the experience was superb again, the views amazing, the riverside walks calming and beautiful, the spa bath relaxing and breakfast on the balcony next morning to finish it off just put the cherry on top. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quick escape in the beautiful wilderness that is Warburton. Thanks again Mike & Jeanette. See you again soon for sure.
