DALRIADA GUEST HOUSE

We stayed at Dalriada for one night while we were in the Isle of Skye in Sept 2020. The location is great, just a few minutes away from town, and the hosts were very warm and accommodating. They serve an incredible breakfast with lots of local offerings. Rooms were warm and bathrooms were clean, and they took all of the right precautions with COVID. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Great Views and location safe and clean

We had a lovely stay at the Dalriada and our hosts went over and above our expectations to make our stay exceptional , safe and comfortable. In such trying times the attention to our safety, without affecting the quality and comfort of our time in Skye. We would go back there anytime

Relaxing short stay

We needed one night's accommodation near Portree after a need to change our holiday plans because of Covid. We selected Dalriada on the basis of reviews and were very pleased we did so. The accommodation was a good-sized bedroom with ensuite and was very tastefully furnished (although, as everywhere, extras such as cushions have inevitably been removed because of COVID - rightly so). The hosts were extremely hospitable. Breakfast was "continental" with a good choice of options and with generous portions. Dalriada followed excellent COVID precautions. I would certainly recommend a stay here: it is located on an easy-to-find road just a mile or so out of the main town centre. We drove back in for a evening meal but a taxi option would be easy to arrange if you preferred.

Very friendly hosts

The B&B is newly refurbished in a very tasteful style. Bed is super comfy. However, it is the hosts who make the stay special... From the homemade banana bread in the hospitality tray to the delicious breakfast with smoked salmon, the hosts were so delightful and attentive, and keen for the guests to have a memorable stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful loft

Stayed here for 1 night while on holiday. The loft is designed for ease of socisl distancing so separate from the main house. Parking on site. Owner very friendly and helpful. Recommended some sites to visit that we didnt know about . Even left some delicious home baking for us. The loft is beautifully decorated, very modern and clean. Breakfast provided and in the room ready for our arrival. Lots of items to choose from and told to have as little or as much as we wanted. Little fold awsy breakfast bar is a great idea. Would definitely recommend this place and will also stay there again.
