Luxbury Inn & Suites is an all suites venue conveniently located in the heart of Maryville right in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The Luxbury Inn is within an easy six-ten (6-10) minute drive of the Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS), just 20-25 minutes from downtown Knoxville or West Knoxville and only twenty minutes from Townsend/the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our hotel makes a perfect hub and spoke location for guests who would like to tour the unique great trails in the area like the Tail of the Dragon, Foothills Drive, Cherohala Skyway and the many one of a kind pathways in the National Park. Our venue's update was completed in 2019 and we continue adding more GREAT updates to make each of our guests stay their best ever. In our refresh we added new carpet, mattresses, refreshed all paint, replaced lighting, bathroom vanities, wall decorations and new stylish furniture in each of our 32 suites . Each of our suites offer full size appliances in the kitchens plus each kitchenette include all the necessary utensils to prepare a meal in the room. Christmas Traveling

We stayed here again, even though it was further away from where We were Visiting because of the Previous Visits being so Very Nice. We’ve stayed here at least 4 times and when I’m in the Area, this is where I Stay. The Owner/ Managers are Very Nice and each of the Housekeepers do Their best to make sure You are Happy and Satisfied with Your Room. I Highly Recommend a Visit for a Night or for a Week.

Dirty

Dirty sheets. We chose this place after reading positive reviews and we’re very shocked to find a dirty room. The sheets on one of the beds were dingy and looked like someone had slept on them. There was hair on the sheets and on the pillowcases. We requested new sheets and changed the bed ourselves. After the bed was stripped the mattress cover was filthy and I had to flip it over. No joke. The shower was dirty. The handle on the white refrigerator was dark with grime. The window in the back bedroom would not close. The remotes to the TVs did not work properly and it was not a battery issue. Gus from the front office was fantastic with all of this. He came up to fix the remote issue on the TVs but when he left they still weren’t working properly. I could deal with that but not with the cleanliness of the room. It was also very loud until about 11 PM. There was also a tip envelope that looked like it had been used at least 50 times. You couldn’t leave a new one or at least a gently used one? I have never left a review on any establishment but felt compelled to do so on this place. We paid $160 for one night. Gus did tell us that he informed the manager and that the manager would be giving us a discount but that has yet to be seen. …

Thank you for sharing with management your lodging experience. It is so important that our guests let us know their experiences so we can work with all departments to make all areas right. It's great guests like you that help us do this. After reading your review, I immediately spoke with our housekeeping department and checked with our accounting department to find out about the charges you referred to. Housekeeping got a strong message from our general manager. Accounting does show that a $50.00 incidental amount was collected at check in and refunded at check out. Also, a 10% discount was given per the issues listed. We are showing a final charge of $103. Please contact our general manager immediately if you are seeing more on you end. We apologize for your experience.

Very Nice!

Very nice rooms! Clean and very comfortable, home away from home! The rooms are like little apartments! The room has its own central AC unit and I am not talking the little under window units most hotels have! I was actually cool and comfy just like at home! Lol! The lady at the desk was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again! My only regret is that we had booked another hotel for our stay and this was a last minute booking for one night just because we started our trip a day early. My husband kept saying he wanted to go back to the first hotel! This will definitely be our go to place when we visit the mountains.

A wonderful place to stay

Very pleased with our stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms were a nice size. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend everyone to stay there.

The building is an old motel that they have done some renovations with. Our room was large with a kitchen and nice updated furniture. It was clean. The drapes and carpet were older. The bathroom was very small with no counter space and thin skimpy towels. The remote didn't work and there was one tissue in the box. Someone decided to rev their engine outside about 3 am, drove away and came back, lasted about an hour. Breakfast was in the office area, limited items due to space size.

Jerry, thank you for choosing Luxbury Inn & Suites for your recent visit. Yes, our hotel is 15 years old now. We did the refresh/update this year in each suite with fresh paint, new mattresses, new carpet, new furniture in all rooms, new bathroom vanities and new wall decorations. We have not yet updated the drapes, however this is on our list to do this next year. I'm sorry to read your sleep was disturbed by the noisy car outside. Please do stay with us again next opportunity. We are doing more updates and add new items to the breakfast bar often.
