Much recommended. Henry was incredibly helpful and kind. We arrived in pouring rain on our bikes. Henry took our clothes and washed and dried them. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view onto the hillside. Breakfast was good.
We stayed at this nice B&B in May for one night, before heading up the Bealach na Bà. The room was nice, bathroom a bit small, but clean and breakfast was really good, with lots of choices. Also enough space for parking and really quiet and scenic location. The house itself is a bit hard to find, a bit of a drive past the youth hostel. You need A about 30 minutes to walk to town, where you can get a nice dinner at e.g. the Applecross Inn.
We spent two nights here while in the area for a wedding. The house itself is in a stunning location with fabulous views out of all the windows. Bed was comfy & shower was refreshing - all very clean. The hosts are gracious & the breakfast is massive, so bring an appetite! It was a little bit still/stuffy at night with no AC or fans (and we couldn’t open the windows due to midges). Be sure to ask for specific directions to the house, if you’re planning to stay here & be prepared to drive everywhere, as it’s a bit off the main road.
Located near the youth hostel, nestling beneath the hills but not too far from the shore. Welcoming and tastefully furnished. Very quiet. Deer barking to add to the atmosphere - it was the rutting season after all! Perfect for a relaxing stay or for walking, exploring. Worth visiting the small museum nearby. Excellent food at the Applecross Inn.
We had a lovely stay at this B&B last weekend. First visit to Applecross. The house is within walking distance of the Walled Garden and the Applecross Inn, just make sure you take a torch.. Good breakfast, nice room and dog friendly too !
