Ali and Seonag lovely happy chatty hosts, offering clean comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast at a very reasonable price. The b and b also offers a well stocked shop with a post office (shut Sundays). Found this b and b at height of Covid, and this was one of 4 properties that stood up during Covid and said it would be available in September. Please note that Highlands summer season ends August bank holiday and so you must book evening meal as eateries are thin on the ground in September. (Seonag advised us to do that when we booked). We booked at Applecross Inn (see their website for online booking).

Seonag & Ali are friendly, helpful hosts in this quirky, homely, good value B&B. Our room (one has a lovely sea view, one a pleasant inland one) had a huge comfortable double bed and a separate loo and a separate shower room. Great breakfast with a fabulous sea view and everything super-clean. Useful well-stocked shop attached to the B&B. Location is gorgeous.

This is a gem of a B&B. If you are looking for a welcome second to none, warm and friendly hosts with a truly authentic field then look no further. Stop searching and book this place. It's is beautiful. We had the most fabulous days here with Seonag, Ali and there Son James. This place is a working croft, shop and post office, but still manages to offer piece and quite. Not that we gave our hosts any. We generally "chewed their ears off" with questions about their area. I am pretty sure they were happy to oblige with information and general chat as they are genuinely a beautiful family. Some reviewers have mentioned the rooms are are a little small and I suppose they are but they are good, clean and neat and tidy. The breakfast is very good with a choice of items to choose from. It's not the modern "grab and go" breakfast. There only two rooms so you have an allocated time slot where you have the breakfast room to yourselves, so Covid segregation is followed. The room is a conservatory type building with great views over the inner sound to the Isle of Raasay and Sky respectively. We were lucky to see a school of porpoises one morning. Would I return to this accomodation again. Of course I would. It would be the first place I would look if if I was venturing in the area again. The hosts make this a great place. They even offered me the use of a shed and slipway close to the beach to store my canoes to save me putting them on and off my car. Thanks Seonag and Ali. It was truly superb Paul and Karen

What a fantastic place to stop over. We found this little gem while doing the nc500. Made myself and gaz feel like part of the family even at these testing times. Couldn’t do enough for us and the breakfast was superb. Nice clean rooms with a great view over the Loch. Lovely friendly dogs and a week equipped little village shop at the side also run by them. I will definitely be staying here again. All the best And thank you once again. Ja & Gaz Bikers from Lincs.
