We got married on 30 August 2021 and it was perfect. Could not of asked for a better place to have our wedding. From the initial viewing and meeting with Odhran to our big day. All our guests complimented the food. All staff could not of done anything more for us. The venue is perfect. Completely refurbished and looks amazing. Highly recommend. We also have stayed a few nights for a night away. Great offers and the rooms are a very high standard along with the restaurant food.

I had a few issues with my booking that put a bit of a dampener on my stay. I prepaid for dinner and afternoon tea using their e voucher facility. However, this caused major confusion and I had to explain twice that I had already paid - I felt like a thief. The receptionist who challenged me the first night was really quite rude. I was then summonsed down to reception the following day to pay again!!. ...at this point it was getting ridiculous. Communication and customer service skills could definetly be improved. I should say that the waiting staff were the saving grace for this hotel. They were excellent - nothing was too much effort.

We had our wedding at the Tullyglass on June 2021 after pushing back from April 2021. Moving our date due to covid was no issue for the hotel and the staff were more than helpful. The day was perfect, food was incredible and staff were so attentive to all guests. I still have guests commenting on how amazing the food was. Was the perfect day we had dreamed of, thank you to all the staff 😊

Today whilst dining with my family in the carvery I witnessed who I imagine was a senior member of staff (older lady with shoulder length blonde hair and walked with a limp) shouting or should I say ‘screaming’ at a younger member of staff in a packed dining room. The young server was almost reduced to tears but remained professional and resilient as the older lady continued to scream at her - I honestly don’t know how the young girl took it as it was difficult to watch!! It was extremely unprofessional of the older staff member as many of the other customers stopped what they were doing to see what the fuss was all about. The young girl served us a short time after and I asked her if she was okay to which she said she was - I don’t know how she continued to work as I’m sure she was humiliated by the whole incident. Whilst we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the choice was excellent, I doubt we would return to the carvery again as I watched as the young girls were barked and snapped at by the same older lady. This staff member seems to be a bully and saddened me to observe such behaviour towards young staff throughout the duration of our visit.
