My first visit to Leighinmohr House Hotel. At the beginning of September, three of us met up for our first lunch out together since pre-Covid. As one of our party has been shielding, I wanted to be as sure as possible re adequate Covid safety measures.Excellent service from telephone booking right through to end of lunch visit. Receptionist was so helpful on booking. On arrival the waitress, Ionela, went way beyond the "call of duty" to accommodate us and was extremely understanding of our desire to be cautious without ever making us feel we were being demanding! She is a real asset to the hotel. Great menu, food, service and above all real customer care. Will definitely return! Highly recommend!
You know an establishment has got it right when they dominate the conversation from the moment you leave until the moment you get home. We’re just back from a superb evening at Leighinmohr House Hotel where we enjoyed a family get together in the restaurant. From the very start, the staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive; the head waiter was on the ball and every member of his team knew exactly what they were doing, and did it to very high standards. The menu was excellent! I opted for the Honey Glazed Chilli Chicken Strips to start, followed by the Confit Hillstown Farm Pork Belly as my main course. For dessert, I chose the creme brûlée. Every course hit the spot, and then some; the flavours were simply outstanding, I can’t compliment the chef enough. I’ve no hesitation in recommending Leighinmohr House Hotel to anybody looking for a fine dining experience, my wife and I will certainly visit again when we’re next this side of the water; we may even look to spend an evening there.…
Had the beat the clock menu tonight and it was excellent. The presentation and quality of the food was top notch. The beef curry was great as was the seafood linguine. The attention to detail and the staff attentiveness are a credit to the owners and management- keep the standards up - we will be back.
Recently attended a wedding and stayed overnight as well. The staff were polite and helpful. The cuisine at the wedding and breakfast was top class and served very efficiently by courteous staff. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable while the Champagne Bar and function room were grand and fitting for such an enjoyable wedding.
Myself and my family dined in the restaurant last night for my dad's 70th birthday. The food and service were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were both personable and professional. Everyone had 3 courses and all enjoyed what we had! Anything we asked for in addition was received promptly and without issue. Would highly recommend and we would definitely be back. They also have beautiful gardens for lovely photos!
