Ian and Christine were the perfect hosts. They were both helpful, knowledgeable about the range of things to do in the local area and places we could eat. Our luxury bedroom was immaculate and had a really comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom had a large shower cubicle and a lovely corner bath. Home made squares or biscuits were provided everyday, what a treat. There were many extras, like choice of beverages with fresh milk available which we really appreciated. The breakfasts included a full range of options including home made vegi sausages. as well as homemade granola and muesli, jams and marmalades. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The garden was an added bonus with 4 different areas to sit and relax. On site parking for 3 cars and safe parking on no through road outside.

We found this B & B and it was just what we wanted for a short break in Dawlish,we followed the instructions from the hosts as to get to the location coming in via Starcross ,We were met by Christine and Ian and carried out all the covid steps and we were shown to our room, some nice cakes made by Christine with a cup of tea was just what was wanted, and we had different home made biscuits every day of our stay, Ideal location to catch the bus to tour around the local area. God willing we will return

This was our first stay in Dawlish and we booked into The Beeches for 2 nights after reading all the positive reviews, and we were not disappointed. Everything was perfect. Christine and Ian are lovely hosts (very welcoming but never intrusive), our room was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were delicious. We loved all the little touches, like the homemade cake and biscuits in our room on arrival, the luxury toiletries and the homemade cereals and jams at breakfast. Great care had also been taken to observe all the necessary requirements during the pandemic and we felt completely safe and comfortable. A real gem. For evening meals, the Smugglers Inn is just an 8-minute walk away.

We stayed with Christine and Ian at their lovely b&b for 3 nights in October. They made us feel so welcome, with hand made biscuits and a lovely spotless room.Christines breakfast is excellent (amazing sausage) and Ian makes a cracking cup of tea. They are perfect hosts always available for a chat and nothing is too much trouble for them.Their house is absolutely stunning and hopefully we will be back around Christmas time.

This year was our second stay at The Beeches , we so enjoyed our first visit of 9 days last year , we booked for 2 weeks this year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as usual Ian and Christine are fantastic hosts , friendly and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble for them , and with Covid, everywhere was very clean ,with sanitisers on display , we felt VERY safe. We enjoyed a fabulous holiday at The Beeches , which earlier in the year we didn't think we would have. Thanks again, Ian and Christine, look forward to seeing you both next year .

Thank you so much, we really enjoy your company and it was great to see you both again after your initial visit here last year. It is so difficult for all of us regarding Covid, so it’s good to know you felt safe with the changes we’ve had to make. A big Thanks again and we already look forward to your return 👍 xx
