Nestled between the cliffs of Bouley Bay, the privately owned Water's Edge Hotel, overlooking the bay, quaint harbour and the distant French coast, has one of the most spectacular views in Jersey. The Water's Edge Hotel, a 3-star hotel with a 5-star location, is the ideal place to escape the day to day routine, with 45 guest rooms, its own private gardens, outdoor heated swimming pool between April - September and direct beach access. Modern 2-bedroom self-catering chalets with sea views are also available on site. For the energetic, there is a 5-star PADI Scuba-diving centre, also offering snorkeling, kayaking and canoeing. The stunning cliff path network commences a few yards from the hotel. Enjoy the finest walks, where the scenery is wild and the terrain ruggedly beautiful, with steep heather and bracken-clad cliffs that soar high above Bouley Bay and beyond. Adults and children can enjoy our fully equipped games room, featuring pool tables, video games, big screen TV, WiFi and seating area. There is a choice of four dining options, in Pebbles Restaurant, Al Fresco Rooftop Terrace and the Lounge Bar, which offer casual dining from the a la carte menus, as well as set menus. The Black Dog serves traditional pub food. Within 5 minutes drive, visit the famous Durrell Wildlife Park. The Island's capital, St Helier, located four miles away, is a charming, compact shopping haven, where designer boutiques and high street names sit side by side. Located only 6 miles from Jersey Airport and 4 miles from the Condor ferry terminal. There is a daily bus service which picks up directly outside the hotel, although we highly recommend hiring a car, in order to maximize your stay by visiting Jersey's attractions and beaches. We look forward to welcoming you to The Water's Edge. Mark Neal, General Manager

Don’t let the empty hotel put you off staying here (unless work has started on refurb/demolition which does not seem imminent) . The chalet was perfect, clean and well kept with lovely views across the bay. We chose not to eat out preferring to relax in the evening either on the balcony or inside with the door wide open to enjoy the sea. The area is very quiet in the mornings and evenings and the sea is lovely to swim in either from the stony shore or from the jetty. Locals regularly swim here and a pontoon has been set up for the summer. There is a cafe on the beach which serves burgers etc and seems to be good. It is handy for touring the island with a car but without a car there are buses every 2 hours or so that link in to the island bus network, You can hire both electric bikes and cars in St Helier. Jersey Zoo is near enough to walk to and the coastal path is right next to the chalets affording great views along the coast and access to other small bays if you .enjoy a good walk. I can really recommend this as a place to stay, We were very lucky to get a late cancellation and I would certainly visit again. I wish we could have stayed 2 weeks as there was lots to see and do on Jersey.

Having a really lovely relaxing time at the chalet.Really friendly very helpful . Rachel has thought of everything you need to know about the island and has wrote it all in the welcome pack. From a map of all the local shops, with postcodes, to bus times and everything you can do on the island to keep the kids well occupied. The chalet is very clean and very comfortable. Large tv,spacious living room and very well thought out kitchen area with everything you need.. a real home from home. Very well recommended. A definite book for every year to explore the island. And for eating out and enjoying good beers and ales can definitely reccomend The Tipsey pub..as got real ales plus excellent restaurant.

Our family of 4 and our family dog stayed in No 1 chalet for 3 months whilst we were in between properties it was a perfect stop gap. Open plan lounge, diner kitchen upstairs and down stairs were 2 bedrooms one ensuite and a family bathroom all rooms where a good size both the lounge and master bedroom have a balcony over looking the bay with lovely views. We had 2 cars one car we had a designated space outside and further ample parking below. There are some good walks on the cliff paths for adventurous people either going to Bonne Nuit bay or Rozel. The caretakers of the property’s were great always straight to you if they were needed, I would highly recommend these Chalets for either holiday makers or families like ourselves in between moves. We would use these chalets again if needed. The price of the accommodation per month was very reasonable to include all bills. Thanks too Rachael and James for a lovely stay.

These chalets are in a perfect location if you want a peaceful holiday. We managed without a car despite it been fairly remote as buses are every couple of hours into town. Lovely pub/restaurant next door too. However I doubt the pool was heated, it was freezing and looked tired and dirty. This was hugely disappointing as I had hoped it would keep the kids entertained a bit. Our ensuite shower was broken and despite messaging the owners within a couple of hours of arriving nobody got back to me so we were all struggling to share the other. Overall lovely area to stay but was expecting slightly better for the price

Stayed her with my partner and had a wonderful time, everything we could have wished for and a bit more. Lovely location with a great little pub with good food. Staff in both the accommodation and pub were brilliant and the views are to die for. It such a shame the hotel has now closed, hopefully the new accommodation complements the location.

Closed for redevelopment into apartments. Very pretty bay and views but nowhere to get a cup of tea, coffee or drink of any sort. Did not see any shops either. Should be removed from trip advisor. Suggest you take a picnic. Great views from different coastline.

Despite a big booking including 40 people for dinner, they were the rudest hotel staff I've ever met! The receptionist was awful. This hotel is closing soon, but don't visit in the meantime there are plenty more welcoming places to stay

Great location but must have a car for ease of visiting.Stunning walks and views so peaceful . Hotel a little tired and food a bit too cool in the morning.Everything locked after 8.30 pm Black Dog collects on the evening food. Fell in love with the bay...shame about the demolition 😢😞

Stunning peaceful location, lovely staff and service, décor clean but dated because the hotel is closing forever on 26 September, so sad. Breakfasts were great and dinners superb - 5 star food in a 3 star hotel! The dining room has the most beautiful views.
