Just returned from a 7 day stay there.Excellent staff all round, Reception, waiters housekeeping and Bar staff Nice size room and was comfortable. Buffet breakfast for cereals etc.waiter service for full English or continental. What I did like was you could choose your evening meal at breakfast time. Nice Size pool. Good evening entertainment. 3 minutes to Howard Davis Park, 5 minutes to the town centre and the 10 to the bus station Would certainly go back again.
We have just come to the end of our stay at the Norfolk Hotel. Definitely should be more than a 2*. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who sorted out our room for us, we were on the 3rd floor, quite a small room but spotlessly clean and adequate for our 4 night stay. My partner wanted a fan and an extension lead which were promptly put in our room with no trouble at all. Breakfast was ok, kept us going until lunch, we didn’t eat dinner in the hotel so cannot comment on that. Hotel is in a good location within easy reach to the town centre with loads of shops and bars to go in, also just a stones throw away from a beautiful big park which if you walk through to the other end you come to a great pub called the White Horse overlooking the sea. Nice little hotel, caters more for the elderly, but that said would probably stay again.…
I recently organised a trip to Jersey withh 11 friends. We booked Dinner bread and breakfast at the Norfolk Hotel, and the experience was excelent. All the staff from Karen who looked after our bookings, dealing with changing numbers and two cencellations due to covid in a friendly and efficient maner, to the reception staff, and particularly our waitress, were all friendly, experienced and helpful. In particular our waitress was very friendly and soon learned our individual tastes. The 6 rooms we booked were all located close to one another and were all clean and comfortable, with coffee, TV, Safe and shower over the baths, with a strong handho;d to aid access. The food was good, Breakfast included buffet cereals, and a choice of cooked breafasts or continental. The evening meals offered 3 courses, unlimited coffee, and 3 choices of main course. Overall it was a great experience. The hotel is a short walk away from the centre of Jersey, but buses are available.…
Had a lovely 3 night stay at the Norfolk hotel. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately Jet 2 holidays did not send transport for the airport today, we waited and waited no coach to arrive it never arrived. Thank goodness for Daniel he stepped in and drove us to the airport..... What amazing service.... He went over and above what was expected. So many thanks to Daniel for saving the day.
What an amazing hotel, really clean, excellent staff, so helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Beds were so comfy, great nights sleep. Me and my sister would definitely go back . You are near everything you need, bus stop right outside the lobby. Thanks for a lovely time. The Basildon babe’s .
Just returned from a wonderful holiday in the Norfolk.Cannot find fault with anything. The staff were great especially Tila our waitress.Good was lovely and good portion sizes. Hotel near town, local buses so easy to use. There is a lift in the hotel.Bedrooms were generous.Lovely outdoor pool. Would definitely go back again. So much to see
We visited the Norfolk Hotel with a coach company and expected to be treated as a group. But no. We were treated as individual guests. What makes a good hotel are the staff. From the moment of check-in to the moment of check-out we were treated with courtesy, friendliness and a bit of humour thrown in. Thanks to you all. The hotel was well presented and clean. Rooms were serviced each day, which has not been the norm in other hotels during Covid. The food was very good and our waitress Tila (sorry if I have your name wrong) was brilliant. The hotel is close to the centre of St. Helier and it is only a short walk to shops, sea front, and bus station. There was entertainment in the evenings. There were visiting singers but the quiz and bingo were run by the hotel – just another illustration of how enthusiastic they were. So in short, I can recommend this hotel. Not sure how stars are awarded but this hotel is worthy of more than 2 stars. Thanks again to you all for a very enjoyable holiday.…
Very enjoyable stay. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, with pleasant and friendly staff. The hotel is ideally placed for the town centre and everything it has to offer. Excellent service. No issues. Highly recommended!
we arrived may 24th for a week’s break i’m glad we chose the norfolk 5mins to howard david park 10mins to beach and 10 mins to st helier . the room was very clean we had clean towels every day the food was good and well cooked and TILA our server was very attentive but not overbearing seeing to all our needs she deserves a rise! .the drinks are well priced and the service was good in the bar the only bugbear if you came off a trip the bar didn’t open while 5oclock a dispenser was available but not everyone carries change these days. all in all a good quality hotel and better than a two star would book again when travelling to jersey
How this place is only 2 star is ludicrous. Yes, a tad dated but I love it. Location, amenities, location 5 star. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, lfrom Barry on reception to the waitress in the dining room. But most importantly SPOTLESS EVERYWHERE.
