This is our 2nd visit to this guest house, we find it excellent for the money. Paula the owner is very friendly. Yes it's a little dated, but rooms are clean, beds are comfy, shower good and towels replaced every day. Breakfast is included in the price, which is very good and hot, and plenty of it. I think if you were veggie you would have to check in advance to get veggie sausages etc included for your breakfast as it dosent state this on the menu. You need to bring your own toilteries as these aren't included. We would have no hesitation in booking this b&b when we next return to Jersey.

Guest house looks beautiful from outside. Very dated on the inside though. Bedroom was of a good size, comfy beds and pillows. Super fluffy towels. Shower on the small size and smelt a bit musty. Older shower fitting which was a bit difficult to get right. It’s sits on a busy road which is noisy from 6am to midnight. 2 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes walk to St Helier. Lovely breakfasts and staff very helpful.

This is a lovely, old fashioned B&B that doesn't pretend to be anything else. Easy to find and what fantastic value for money. The breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. Rooms very clean and lovely, fluffy white towels provided. Owners were very friendly.

Lovely trustworthy people, couldn't do enough for you, home from home. Rooms have Egyptian cotton towels changed daily, as was the cleaning and bins. Breakfast was superb and was served between 8.30 - 9.30. Rooms had tv, condiments, wardrobe with plenty of hangers, lots of space to put all your things away and probably still have empty spaces, dressing table with mirror, long length mirror, wash basin with mirror. Over bed lights as well as ceiling light. no hairdryer but can be borrowed. No curfew time. Beds very comfortable. Buses are a short walk away as is the seafront. These ladies are very friendly and we felt looked after very well. This place is very clean, dust free, carpets are clean too. Free WiFi. My friend left her passport and they immediately notified by text and email. Cannot fault this place at all and we will be coming back here for sure. Thank you Thalatta guest house ❤

We fell upon this hidden gem when searching for budget stays in Jersey. I'm reluctant to write a good review as I want this place to remain hidden!!! But Paula and all the staff deserve the praise for maintaining an excellent, clean and friendly guest house. Nothing is too much trouble, even down to remembering specific requests every morning at breakfast! Yes, the rooms are dated, but extremely clean and serviced daily with fresh towels and refills of tea and coffee ( even decaffeinated coffee). I can't praise this place enough, just to say we will definitely return in the future. It is very central to St Helier town centre and the bus station, which allows you to travel all over the island.

Firstly I would like to say that the guest house is in a very good location. A ten/fifteen minute walk to the centre of St. Helier and close to Havre des Pas beach and bathing pool. Also it is not located on a main road so the area is nicely quiet at night. I mention this because I stayed at the Villa Nova, which is close to the Thalatta, before too which I liked, but did not like being woken up at 400 am by all the lorries driving by in the early morning when I stayed there. I stayed in Room 23 for four nights. The en suite room was clean and spacious with ample wardrobe space and sitting area space, tea and coffee making facilities, great reception on the television set and comfortable single beds. The manager was extremely accommodating too. She let me check in earlier than the other guest houses and hotels in the area would have and she was kind enough to not charge a single supplement which many of the other hotels and guest houses would have charged me. In addition, she offered a full English Breakfast to all of her guests and the scrambled eggs were the best I have ever tasted too. I have been taking short breaks to Jersey since 1993 and have stayed in many different guest houses and hotels and can definitely say this one was the best value for money.

Not sure why anyone would complain about this fantastic guest house especially for the price paid. The room was clean and tidy. The maid came daily and did an excellent job with clean fluffy towels replaced every day. Tea and coffee in room was replenished daily. Breakfast was huge with cereal, full cooked breakfast and toast plus tea and coffee and juices. Location was good with a few pubs and good restaurants nearby and only a 10 minute walk to liberation square. 2 minute walk to the beach and lido. I would not hesitate to stay here again .

Lovely homely guest house, great breakfast, accommodating hosts, fresh towels daily, excellent shower, close to beach and St Helier town. If you want the latest fittings or decorative styles it may not be for you - if you want comfort, convenience and great value for money, I highly recommend! Lovely stay, hope to be back!

It seems a lot of people on here expect 5 star for a 3 star price. This place is excellent value for money. It is one of the cheaper options that i could find which is why i chose it as a base for exploring Jersey. A 10 minute walk into St.Helier/liberation Bus Station. Bus stops also at the top and bottom of the road. All the information was provided to us upon arrival including the code to get back into the building. The host was friendly and welcoming. Wi-fi was decent aswell. Breakfast is served 8:30-9:30, cereals, juices, cooked breakfast available to order and was brought out almost immediately. Rooms serviced daily. Bags could be stored after checkout to collect later closer to our flight time.
