Hotel's Favourite
Just returned from a weeks holiday, staying at the Hotel De France Based on previous reviews we booked a Spa Room, which it turns out is in the newer part of the hotel Large spacious and very comfortable room, with a large floor to ceiling window and a large patio door giving access to an outside balcony Hotel itself was immaculate and very comfortable, with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay Breakfast was “continental” although hot food was available and other options could be ordered for an additional cost The food was delicious and plentiful, enough to set us up for the day We did also dine at the hotel on a BBQ night, and it was one of the best meals we had throughout the week in Jersey The walk into town took around 10/15 minutes and was actually quite pleasant, through the Millenium park and past some lovely independent shops and cafes, so don’t let it put you off If we return to Jersey, we would certainly stay at this hotel, and would highly recommend it to anyone else

Perfect location, spacious, clean and well maintained rooms. Friendly staff,we met Ethan, Josh and Morris. Highly recommendable , the ambience is great and we really enjoyed our meals. Also, be aware of the 10% service charge. It was home away from home. The experience was excellent and the service top tier. Would recommend to my other friends who are visiting Jersey and would love an experiential experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable 💙 .

Really disappointed I went to this hotel on many occasions when I was a lot younger, there as a fabulous restaurant with silver service and a different menu daily, a nightclub and entertainment, now just a spa with a restaurant you can find better in a Premier Inn. Great spa facilities but staff rude and as unhelpful as possible. Will not be returning.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were attentive and always willing to help. We were given a twin room on the 2nd floor near the new spa rooms it was a very large room compared to others we walked past. Ample space, aircon lovely bathroom. The hotel location is about a 15 min walk from liberation squ (the main town area) which was fine for us, there was a hotel shuttle that took you to town from the hotel which was handy, starting at 08.30! We were only there 2 nights so we utilised the spa facilities, spent a full day on a tour of the whole island, the only thing that let this hotel down was the breakfast. Considering this is a 4 star hotel the breakfast was such a letdown. They should advertise it as continental and then do cooked to order, the breakfast was layed out on a long table with a few cold items, (fruit, yogurt, ham, cheese ect) the hot was sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, tomato & mushroom, NO BEANS!!! 😒 all I wanted was boiled eggs, tomato and beans and that only came in the ‘cooked to order’ full English that was extra charge! (To be fair they do offer poached, boiled and fried egg at no extra) but honestly for a 4 star I expected so much better looked like something you’d expect at a hostel. If there was an option when booking to have a cheaper rate without breakfast I would of booked that and go out for breakfast we had a lovely breakfast on the say we arrived as we landed so early! Overall lovely stay but not sure I would return.

Nice hotel with good service and helpful staff. Great swimming pool and hot-tub setup. Reduced menu due to lack of gas to most Jersey premises. They still managed a good breakfast, Sunday roasts etc. 15-30 minute walk to St Helier centre. Charging points in car park.

Really nice hotel in St Hellier. Large reception area, good lifts to all floors. The rooms are a good size and modern (in the spa annex). Our room had a lovely balcony with views over the town and towards the sea. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. The included breakfast was plentiful, good choices and well prepared. Not the cheapest hotel in town but if you want great views and to get away from the 24 hour traffic noise this is ideal, however a word of caution, the hotel is on a hill so be prepared for uphill walking and lots of steps

Outside the hotel looks very grand, the room allocated was depressing. Window frosted out to prevent you seeing the view of bins, ducting etc. The room was very small, the TV didn't work, and overall for £115 I was disappointed, and will not be returning.
