A perfect find in Jersey. Location in the south west of the island was superb - close driving distance to everything you might want to see on the island, wonderful beaches and local shops etc. We did drive everywhere from the hotel though, so bear that in mind if you don’t have your own transport. A classic hotel in style, had everything that we needed including a wonderful restaurant. Indoor pool was good for our young daughter and the interconnecting rooms suited us well. Impeccable service all around - what a lovely man Nelson is. Minor gripes - an update to the gym equipment would be money well spent, the outdoor pool was freezing despite the lovely weather and the housekeeping times just didn’t really work for us - we kept wanting to be in the room when they did unfortunately. They also left a couple of cleaning cloths on the bed, which wasn’t great. None of this detracts from the overall experience and we would definitely go back to the Atlantic.…
We initially booked the first evening meal in the hotel restaurant, as we were arriving late in the evening and we had not been to Jersey before, so no hassle. After the experience we decided that it was pointless trying to find anywhere else to dine, as it was clearly Michelin star standard in both food and service. The peach delice dessert was not only delicious, it is a gastronomical masterpiece of engineering, We couldn't even begin to imagine how it had been constructed.
We stayed four nights which were most enjoyable. The staff, (Nelson, Daniel, Agnello, Jayda, Roya,, to name a few) were welcoming and create a charming atmosphere. For three nights the weather was very hot and air conditioning was needed. As this is going to be more frequent in the future investment in upgrading would entice more visitors and repeat custom.
We really wanted to give The Atlantic Hotel 5/5 but there were just a few areas that need improvement. Other than these small areas (see below), the hotel was faultless. It’s a beautiful location, the grounds and sea views are amazing, the hotel has a beautiful relaxed feel and the food for all meals is delicious and beautifully presented. However it’s the service which sets the hotel apart - the staff are so friendly and efficient. The areas for improvement all relate to the bedrooms: - the rooms don’t have separate showers, just showers over the bath which was fine but we would have expected separate shower cubicles for this standard of hotel - the hotel and bedrooms didn’t have air conditioning which again we expected - the bedroom balconies are juliette balconies rather than ones you can sit on. Other than the above, we were delighted and when we return to Jersey we will definitely stay here again - we looked at other 4/5 star hotels in St Brelade’s Bay and much preferred The Atlantic - it’s in a different class.…
Just returned from an amazing stay at the Atlantic hotel. What a fabulous hotel the staff are what make this place. There are two particular staff however that we would like to thank both Jessie and Chris who went above and beyond in helping my fiancé with my surprise proposal to say it was magical is an understatement. A huge thank you Jessie and Chris.
Top quality fine dining and super service. Some original dishes and good wines. A great experience and must be one of the top restaurants in Jersey. I would highly recommend this as a dining experience. Lovely view of the sunset after dinner.
Everything brilliant - lovely staff, great food and fantastic views. Totally recommended. The food and service is particularly good. My only comment would be that they only have a seasonal spa in a tent so if you are really into spa treatments then you would not get that here.
We recently celebrated our wedding day at The Atlantic Hotel which was absolutely amazing. Dror, the hotel manager organised everything, he was lovely and super organised and took our stress away. He went above and beyond to be helpful. The staff team are impeccable to include Nicolas and Winston. The food was absolutely stunning - big thanks to the very talented chef team. Thank you all for making our wedding weekend so special. We will be coming back soon!! If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further than this beautiful venue.
We have just returned from a lovely week-long stay at the Atlantic and what a lovely time we had. Our friends in Switzerland recommended the hotel to us for the views, the atmosphere and the staff and we now understand exactly what they were talking about. From the arrival we felt how nice the staff were, really cared for us and helped us throughout the week to find the best walks in Jersey. The restaurant staff were amazing and remembered everything we liked and were very attentive. Special thanks to Tyron and Nicholas for dealing with our special requests. We took our breakfast on the terrace outside and it's definitely the best setting for breakfast anywhere we stayed. We had a few dinners in restaurants outside the hotel but both food and service in the hotel were by far the best we experienced during our trip. Everything was fresh, and the team were friendly and professional. Wine selection is incredible, I think they have around 500 different wines on their list. Room was spotlessly clean and the bar team helped us by the pool in the afternoons. They were also very hospitable and kind. Some of the sunsets were incredible and we have so many beautiful memories from our stay. We will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends!…
Stayed here last week. I would like to point out firstly that I had the full english for breakfast. the sausages I ordered had a small brown line down the side and 90% of the sausage looked anemic. The sausage casing was chewy and raw. The bacon was anemic but rock hard. Altogether I honestly believe, I could have trained a chimp to cook a better and more tasty breakfast. I turned to the continental selection and asked the waiter where the bread was. He said that the baker does not come in until later to start work. So no bread???!! Shocking. We declined to dine the entire period we were there thereafter because of the appalling food. Why is it that your beautiful hotel has no background music at all in reception areas? It is like God's waiting room. The staff were very nice I must say and helpful. This place is not cheap, you badly need to improve the breakfast. This is the first time that at 72 years old, my father has ever given negative feedback. I can assure you that I will never set foot in your hotel again. I will go back to The Sands or L'Horizon where we can get a decent breakfast for all the money we pay. The place has no ambience. You start the day with a decent breakfast and that was what we expected here but were mistaken!…
