Good location, plenty of resturaunt near by, room is spacious. No toiletries in tubes in bathroom-in the shower was a dispenser for shampoo and shower gel. We have not been at a Home2 so I thought that was odd, as other Hilton properties have all that. Asked at check-in about any changes in breakfast. Desk clerk told me there are no waffles, but sausage sandwiches, cereal and breads/bagels and yogurt. So with us having to heat our sandwich in one of two microwaves, the line was long. There was an interesting sign on the frozen sandwich display, "only one sandwich per person"! Really?? I have stayed at countless Hilton properties and have NEVER seen a sign like this at any of them. Only one 2-slice toaster to handle the line of people waiting for it. So I would have given this hotel a "5", but please improve the efficiency of your breakfast service.…
We lived in Knoxville for 21 years. Then moved to California. First time back in 8 years. Hotel was clean and convenient. We liked the room layout and we walked to Parkside Grill for dinner take out. Dog Friendly as well. Recommeded!
Staff very warm, great location, two restaurants in walking distance, rooms well equipped, breakfast, laundry, easy to park, Internet access reliable, access to highway i40 within 3 minutes, grocery and pharmacy less than 5 minutes
When you arrive You can kind of tell the hotel is somewhat new but that feeling will go away pretty fast. The room was musty and the air conditioning intake was filled with dirt and dust. My room was missing the office chair and when I tried to get something from the front desk they just looked at me like a cow at a new gate. The “Breakfast” is usually okay and good for grab and go, but not here. They only had cereal and some frozen biscuits they got from the local grocery store. When asked about the normal items they responded “we are out” this was both days I stayed. During the day apparently they was working on some rooms to the point all I could hear was staple guns and doors slamming. All day!! I was never asked if I would be working or sleeping during the day.
The hotel was very clean and attractive. The lobby was inviting. My room was very clean and comfortable. I found the management to be very receptive and quick to help. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and the coffee was piping hot.
