We traveled with our family over the 4th of July weekend and had an excellent stay. The rooms are a little old and out dated, but clean and functional. The pool area was awesome and we loved using the hot tub and sauna as well. Again, you can tell that this hotel has been around for a while because of the wear and tear around these common areas. Breakfast options were vast. They had your usual fare of waffles eggs and cereal, but had other options like hash browns too. We really appreciated being able to use the large dining area for family dining during the after hours. Overall we had a great time.
Very nice hotel. Located right on road leading to Mount Rushmore and other attractions. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Pool was nice. Various breakfast selections were great. Lots of other restaurants and gas stations within walking distance. Room was clean and nice bed.
Nice hotel, friendly reception staff. Hotel is clean. Great place to stay for Mt. Rushmore, Black Hills and other national and state park day trips in the area Hot free breakfast with eggs and some type of meat, waffles and lots of additional danish, cereal and fruit. Breakfast attendant not very efficient in keeping items stocked when busy, and not friendly when asked a question. Spacious rooms were clean. We had a 2 queen with sitting area suite amd fold out couch. Plenty of room for our family. Bathroom was clean but a little worn, everything worked. We had a maintenance issue which they repaired right away. I always review the fitness facilities. This one is ok. Two treadmills, a stepper and a nautilus machine. The press side of the nautilus had frayed and damaged cables so I didn't use, the curl side was ok to use and had a movable bench so you can curl and press there. No sanitizing wipes for two days, and never any towels. Room was clean otherwise. Large pool, nice pool area. Hot tub needs some work. Would stay again of in the area. Reasonably priced compared to Hilton properties (my preferred properties) the area which were way over priced and I have found Comfort is offering better breakfasts during covid that most Hampton Inns. Safe travels!…
In spite of being an older hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. There was a coin laundry area for guests to use, both washers and dryers which having been on the road for almost a week, was a welcome sight. They also had a hot breakfast which is rare in this pandemic.
I booked two rooms and the community room. Very helpful at the desk in helping us get those rooms reserved. Our room was clean and well stocked with towels etc. The refrigerator kept food well chilled without freezing the vegetables. Given the Covid environment, breakfast selections were limited, but plentiful. Great coffee 24/7. Friendly employees. Grandsons had fun in the pool.
