Location was fine. Parking is poor but I'm guessing it's going to be that way in all of Deadwood. Rooms are very rustic, especially the bathrooms with old fashioned tubs which are very old west. Breakfast in the basement was good!

I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years this would be the worst. I will start with the bathroom - the taps were hanging off the bath, when you brushed your teeth your elbow hits the wall, when the bathroom door is opened you can just get you fingers between the door and

I am 70 years old and have traveled to just about every state in the USA, as well as approximately 15-20 different countries. This is the worst place I have ever experienced. I can only think of one worse than this one. Had I not been with a large group of people, I would have w

After being moved from across the street to the main hotel, this was a fun and good place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the steak house downstairs was tremendous. Slots a little tight, or we didn´t pick the right ones.

Hi, Cheryl. What would you like to know about this accommodation? Concerned re; comments on parking situation for the Franklin when reading some of the reviews. Where is it and how far would the walk be as we have slight mobility issues. What are the rooms like? Have reservations for two nights and would like a heads up. Thanks.
Parking is in a small lot behind the hotel they also have a small slot across the street but it’s gated and you have to have someone come open the gate for you. The hotel has an elevator. The “Historic” room I had was a total dump I would not stay there again.

Where is the Rusty Gimble Suite located (back, front, side, room number, etc). Tell me a little bit more about this room or guide me to some pictures.
"historic hotel"
"We had almost 50 people here and almost all of them had terrible rooms."
"Stay in the main hotel and not across the street."
"Bad juju. The brochure pics in no way represent the ugly of this place"
"Get room facing street."
