Nilam the manager is a great asset. This property is clean, safe, and well managed. The decor is beautiful. Although Covid restrictions are in place the hotel still provides a secure, safe, clean place to stay.
We took 36 people to stay at this motel for a golf trip. We had our two dogs with us and they charged us $80 for two nights on top of the nightly charge for the room. These are not nice, clean rooms in the first place so we should have not been charged this fee. They stated the pet policy is online but it is not. This hotel made a good amount on 36 golfers but chose to still charge us for our pets. Also, sheets are dingy and rooms outdated.
Place was nice enough but they do not have night time security. We stayed at Quality since we assume it to not be a party hotel. We travel often for business and have always stayed with the Choice hotel chain. We were wrong loud party in the parking lot and on balconies at 1am. Called the desk they talked to the folks 30 minutes later after it intensified the noise stopped the a short time later resumed. I have young ones and did not feel safe in this environment. Needless to say none of us got a good night sleep. Very disappointed unless you are into the party scene stay elsewhere.
We stayed at this motel for 5 days, checked in very late and found our room to not be very clean and smelled of smoke. But the biggest disappointment was the drops of blood stains on 2 of the pillows. The sheets were clean, but the stains were there. The room had an adjoining door and we could hear our neighbor snoring and his phone notifications all night. The next morning, I told Amanda at the front desk our situation and she was very apologetic and quickly found us a more suitable room, explaining that this was not there normal practice. Yet, her co-worker was making jokes of the massacre that had happened in that room - not appropriate. The new room was clean-ER, but still could use an overhaul. But definitely quieter with clean sheets and a comfortable bed. BUT, the bath towels, while clean, were always damp. Even when I brought it to the front desk clerk's attention after day 3 (not Amanda), I got an excuse about how when you dry a large load, sometimes they get balled up. Regardless, we still had damp, bath towels. Frustrating.…
Stayed there for my nieces high school graduation. Very clean, a great breakfast and great amenities. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Walmart right across the street and lots of restaurants close by. It was so nice to have the fridge and microwave in the room.
I booked this room fairly last-minute to view the solar eclipse due to threats of storms elsewhere. It was a good experience from reserving the room, to the room itself, and finally checkout. The room was clean. They are not fancy, but they do not need to be. It was quiet and comfortable, and that was all that mattered.
Do NOT STAY HERE. Roaches in the room. I am not lying -- never stayed here in the past and of course never will again. Would have tried to find another room but a fishing tournament that weekend had all other places sold out. We have a dog and had to find a place that accepts pets. We need a room on the first floor because of problems our dog has with stairs. They did not have the room we were told would be saved and ended up with a room in the front building. Got in the room, put down bags and a roach was crawling on the head board. Later there was one on the night table between the beds - they are possibly in the phone housing. Husband pulled out the beds and there were 5 or 6 big black dead bugs - more in the corners of the room. Totally unacceptable. Front desk person was lovely, called the manager who wanted to come out and clean the room - at 10 PM at night. Only offered a 20% discount. I insisted on a free stay for one night and not stay the 2nd night so he agreed. Did not sleep well after driving for 6 hours all day. They should have paid US to stay that night. Mngr insists he cleans the rooms well. Here's a tip: use the skinny end of the vacuum and get in the corners and behind the beds. The smell others have mentioned is probably insecticide and it doesn't work. My dog hasn't been normal since that stay, although he finally ate half his food this morning. Disgusting is my one word review.…
I was visiting my son in Clemson and with all the hotels in Clemson (and many others nearby) booked I stayed for 2 nights at the Quality Inn. Because this was a home football game weekend all of the hotels have 2 day minimum stays and prices are higher than normal. The Quality Inn cost in excess of $430 for 2 nights and at that cost I think it's fair to expect better. On the positive side, the staff was friendly but how often are they not at hotels. The room was just OK - good size, TV, Wi-Fi, microwave. The drive back into Clemson is only about 15 minutes. On the less positive side, rooms are entered directly from the parking lot. In other words it has the feel of a motel and some parking lot noise to go with it. The AC in the room is one of those wall units under the window and it goes on and off very frequently and was loud enough to wake me up all night long.…
Frederic is awesome. he went above and beyond to help us. the staff was great and it really made out trip a lot easier not having to worry about where to stay. I always felt safe and at home. I couldn't be happier.
Clean, comfortable room at a great price. The woman at the desk was super friendly. The coffee and breakfast were a big help. The hotel was convenient to our Clemson visit. We will definitely stay here again!
