Do not book this hotel. There was mold in our bathroom and it was dirty. Place is falling apart. Elevator was out of service. We were on the third floor so imagine that with a 3 month old with you and all of the baby things. Bring your own towels because you will never find one at this hotel. She. You ask a staff for one all they say is check back in 44 minutes we might have some.

Hotel's Favourite
We made last minute plans to go visit family in Myrtle Beach for Easter weekend. We needed a pet friendly hotel and since it was a holiday weekend and right in the middle of Spring Break, our options were very limited. Reading the reviews of this hotel, I was very skeptical about booking, but it was better than the other options that were available. Once we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised! The room was very clean and the grounds were beautiful. We used the app to check in and even got to pick our room. We were also able to use our phone as our room key, so the whole check in/out process was completely contactless. With it being Spring Break, I was expecting a lot of drunk and rowdy guests, but it was super quiet and had a very nice family vibe. We stayed in the Live Oak building and pretty much stayed on that side of the property the entire time, so I’m not sure if the issues that other people mentioned in their reviews occurred in the Palmetto building. Whatever the case, I’m glad that I didn’t listen to the negative reviews and tried it for myself. I will definitely book here again the next time I come to visit.

Dear Christine: Thank you so much for staying with us, and thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our resort with the Travel Community on Trip Advisor! We really appreciate you giving us a chance after reading some of of the more critical reviews on our site and are pleased that you were pleasantly surprised when you arrived by the cleanliness of your guest room, the digital check in process, and the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere throughout the property. During a time when guests are very quick to share negative feedback, we truly appreciate you spreading some positivity. It means a lot to our entire team to hear that their hard work is not going completed unnoticed during this very challenging post covid/short staffed pandemic landscape. Again, thank you for staying with us, and for not listening to the negative reviews. We are so pleased to read that we have earned your business and look forward to welcoming you back soon. Sincerely, Jessica

Was at one time a great hotel. Hasn’t been for several decades. If you are charging $550+/night please have a decent room to offer. SPEND some money and rehab the rooms please. Hilton should be embarrassed.

For Myrtle Beach this is probably the best option. If you are not a fan of the downtown area this south beach hotel is the way to go. The beach is quieter and cleaner then other areas of Myrtle Beach proper. The pools and views are the high spot. The hotel was understaffed and struggling during our visit. Upside is that the team members they had were trying hard! Shout outs to Shane, Deborah and servers Bee and Maritsa in the restaurant and Shannon at the bar. The hotel really needs to prioritize opening the grab and go coffee shop to keep the restaurant a faster option. Having a coffee shop on site would be great. They could not keep the lobby coffee full. Lunch did not start until 12:30 and check in was long so by them both guests and new arrivals were lining up. Sit outside for a nice waterfront view. Chose the pool bar or pier restaurant as an option. Warning- you are under the flight path of the airport so they provide ear plugs. It was not a problem for us but it was a bit startling to see how low the planes are over the hotel. They are only providing housekeeping upon request at this time but they did come when we asked.

This hotel is ok, its definitely not the best. My room (334 Palmetto) appeared to be cleaned but it wasn't. I accidentally spilled some water on the floor and used a white towel to clean it up. When I finished, the towel was filthy letting me know that the floor wasn't mopped. You can clearly hear the roar of the planes taking off as early as 6:00am. There is a $10 per day to park and a $200 hold for incidentals. Something was wrong with the microwave, it made a loud noise because the turn plate doesn't work properly. Lastly, on my last night, I dropped my charger behind the nightstand and went to retrieve it, I discovered what appeared to be some spilled food that must've been there for days. The good thing about this hotel is that it is on the less busier end of the beach and the check-in/out process was super easy. To be apart of the Hilton Brand, this location don't meet the standards and should think about getting some updates
