Scott Pickurel was an awesome maintenance man. He was friendly, efficient, and one could tell he truly enjoys his job. Great customer service. He fixed our problem and checked back in to make sure the problem was solved.

When we finally arrived at our hotel, tired and hungry, we were disappointed as soon as we stepped foot in the lobby. The first thing we noticed was the disgusting smell of smoke and marijuana. We followed a small dingy hallway towards the elevator, passed a small grimy looking restaurant ,followed by a dark two piece gym. The elevators were almost unbearable. Once we reached our floor were nasty as if the carpet hadn’t been cleaned in years. This worn and outdated carpet continued into our room. In our room, the beds were thin flat mattresses on top of some sort of board bed bottom. The carpets were stained and still had the remnants of an unqualified keeper. The bathroom was old and musty. There was mold on the ceiling and the bathtub was worn to the base. The ceiling and walls were cover with unidentifiable spots and paint chips. The patio door was missing a handle and the patio carpet looked disgusting so we never even went out there. Don’t be fooled by the website photos. That must have been in some old glory days because it sure isn’t like that now. Jaiden was stressed because the patio door didn’t have Handle or proper locking mechanism. Still we were so tired that everybody just settled in for the night. However Ed wasn’t about to stand for staying in this hotel. He got on the phone to call Holiday Inn to find out why they had put us in such a horrible place. great place. The first thing We noticed was the Disgusting smell of smoke and marijuana. As we had it down small narrow hallway towards the elevator things only got worse. It was dark and dingy. There was a unpleasant looking restaurant off to the right side followed by a two piece gym. The elevators were almost unbearable. Once we reached our floor things weren’t any better the floors were nasty as if the carpet hadn’t been cleaned in years. We all held our breath hoping that this was Just the shell and inside that would be a gem of unimaginable beauty. We were disappointed quickly. The room was small dank and dingy. Front desk was super friendly. Arrived at around 7pm said my room wasn't ready so put me in a different room. The new room has the worst view I've ever seen! Rooms are a little outdated. Beds small but comfy. Air wasn't working too well so Scott the maintenance guy came in and fixed it and was super nice! Over all just ok

I arrived after 7 hrs drive to find that holiday inn vacation club messed up my stay. The room that was offered by holiday inn vacation club was in Lankmark resorts instead. To make things worse, room offered was too small for 3 adults and a child (age 14) to stay in for 3 nights. Sherman is the best manager for accommodating me with not only giving us the suite to stay but also suite comes with an ocean view. I was so happy the entire time. May God make more of passionate people like Sherman. Be blessed Sherman and be happy!
