Travellers' Choice
Dunes Village is home of the area’s only indoor water parks; 30,000 square feet of water fun! 4 adult-size water slides, water basketball, lazy rivers, kiddie pools, mushroom waterfalls and the list goes on. Tennis buffs stay limber on the tennis court and basketball fans shoot hoops on the basketball court. Children enjoy the year-round supervised activity program, giving parents an opportunity to sit back and relax knowing the kiddies are having fun of their own. Dine in one of the 2 onsite restaurants or sip a cup of coffee from Seattle’s Best Coffee. At the end of the day, our spacious studios, suites and condos are the perfect ending to a great day at this award winning resort.

Right before we left we learned my fiance didn't have any antibodies from the vaccine so we almost canceled. I'm so glad we didn't. We were able to have so much fun and stay safe. Thanks to there being so much to do we only left once. We were able to wear masks everywhere but the pool, but thanks to large number of different types of pools we were able to just move to another one if it got crowded. Having a full size fridge in the kitchenette was awesome as we were able to bring our own food. The room was very clean and I really like that housekeeping didnt come in the room just place the towels and trash outside the door. Every staff member we interacted with were all polite and helpful. The only complaint I would have is it is hard to sleep past like 7 because the sound of people opening and closing their balcony doors sounds like thunder and woke me up every single time. Next time I will remember to bring a fan. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was nice and roomy. It made for a great anniversary.

What a wonderful experience we had while vacationing at Dunes Village Resort! There were an abundance of activities to keep everyone happy from ages 4 thru 70. Due to the wide range of restaurants and location, it is not necessary to rent a car—-which is a plus.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with a review that has such high marks! We try very hard to be an exceptional family resort here at the beach and we couldn't be happier to hear that everyone was able to enjoy themselves while staying with us. Travel safely and we hope to see you again soon!

Had a very good time at this hotel. The staff and the other hotel guests are very friendly. Good place to take young children and feel relaxed. The inside water parks are very good and the food is too. Didn’t want go far to eat and Ian who worked at the Captain Cafe made our experience even better. This is my family’s 2nd time going to Dunes and will stay there again when we go back to Myrtle Beach.

Ian S (the bartender at Dunes Village) is a great asset to the resort. He is very friendly and is great at his job. We’ve stayed here over 20 times over the years and we think he is top notch. The bar food was great too.
