I stepped back in time with this wonderfully maintained retro property. It’s beautiful, clean, and has a great view of the ocean. The people here are the most friendly I have ever experienced in any of my stays. They consider you family when you stay here and you will want to come back.

We don't want to deal anymore with the condos and highrises with their dirt, bugs and noise. So we took a chance on a 2 night stay at the south end of MB at this little old fashioned motel......Nothing fancy....freindly staff...clean as could be with COVID regs and stipulations....microwave, refrig...little chairs outside....pool and about 75 steps to the beach ....south end so you are away from the noise and dirt of the honkey tonk end. ( very disappointed to see the decline of MB.....warned of nightly shootings and trouble on the streets.) Convenience store across the street, and several little pizza and sandwhich places nearby. Perfect for us.

Rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helped us carry our luggage to the room. We love how pet friendly it was. This is definitely a great place for fur babies. It may not be the fanciest, but we couldn't have had a better time. We will definitely be back.

I have stayed here in the past and I'm not sure if they've gotten new ownership or exactly what but this will be the last time we will stay here. This visit was HORRIBLE!! I called a couple hours after checking in to advise the A/C was not working properly. The owner came and told me that I was working it too hard. It was a cooler weekend and the air outside felt cooler than what the A/C was producing. I went to WalMart and bought a fan so we could at least sleep. I advised the manager what I had done and he smiled. One morning I decided to use the toaster, it wouldn't heat up. I called to see if they had another one after trying a different out let, the owner brought the toaster up and tried getting the other one to work as if he didn't believe me. The day we checked out he told me to make sure I gave a good review. What?!?! I mentioned again that I was thankful I had bought a fan and that was the only way we were able to sleep. He proceeds to tell me that he is going to check it and will probably have to replace it. That didn't help my visit!! We couldn't even dress in the bathroom after a shower, the place was too hot! It was miserable. Sorry, no good review from me. If he would have reimbursed me for the fan, discounted the room, something to compensate instead of telling me that he will probably replace it after we leave, I would have given a medium rating but not with the way he treated us and didn't trust us. We are adults, not kids ! Horrible! Despicable! Never again will we stay here! Run as fast as you can from this place!

Ugh. OK...disgusting. I did not feel safe here. It was very old, dirty, and outdated with decor from the '80's. The outside walks are covered in old blue carpeting which dates the place and makes it look dirty. This place is beyond gross. I almost got up and left and said to heck with it and keep my money because I wanted to get out of here so bad. The neighbors were smoking weed right next to us, and the smoke came into our room. Definitely not what I had hoped for my little boy to have to smell. smh The ONLY good thing about this place is the price (you get what you pay for) and the beautiful beachfront view. Right on the beach. I wouldn't even stay here again if I was desperate. Definitely won't recommend to friends. The office closes early, too, so you're on your own if you need anything.
