This is my second time staying here and I was surprised to see that the room had been renovated with a full oven and stovetop, utensils, plates, cups, pots and pans. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the beach and they have a nice pool area. Housekeeping had a great attitude and were pleasant each morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel. My family and I will be going again next year.
Beware and run fast . We checked out of our room within the first two hours due to roaches on the bath sink. The room was unkept and the sofa had several stains on it . The location is perfect . However, the pesticide issue and the worn down furniture made my skin crawl .
Don’t waste your money! From the minute we got here I knew it was a mistake. This is our first time in Myrtle and we searched for a good place to stay! This place is in the middle of the chaos and extremely busy, crowded and loud! If that’s what you’re looking for, then go at it. The pictures looked nicer online than in person. The parking is terrible, the place is not well kept, garbage all over. Room was ok, no balcony in the room we got, no place to hang your wet bathing suit, hardly any outlets to plug in chargers. On a good note, the breakfast cafe was decent and yummy and the hotel has direct beach access.
My stay from 7/11 to 7/21 dirty, bugs, Where to begin. I chose your hotel because of what was advertised. 9 pools and all these water slides and fun things for the kids to do. When I arrived I checked in and was told they only have room on 3rd floor and view isn’t that good. I said well I paid for a nice view room. She stated I would have to wait a few days.The room was dirty and not the cleanest but I decided to wait it out. Day 2 the next morning I went in the balcony and the room above me dumped sand on my head and it got in my eyes. I went to complain and was again told the only room available was mine or the 15th floor. That night of day 2 I noticed baby roaches in the room. I again complained and we got put into a new room on the 4th day but had to wait most the day to get the other room cleaned. That room was better. But it had no smoke alarm ( we later found it behind the tv) and the door didn’t lock and was very hard to open and close. On Thursday a new crowd of people came to your hotel. They were rude, dirty, stole things right off the chairs we had our stuff on while swimming. My daughter was very upset about her things being stolen. Kids were calling my children the N word and hitting on my kids. Let’s also mention the smoking by the pools from grown adults. Not just cigarettes either they were smoking marijuana as well right in front of my family. I also complained about that and nothing was done then either. My car was keyed on the hood in your parking garage. The area outside my food got flooded and water was coming into the room. House keeping I had to call a few times to get any kind of service. A few times my kids sent them away though, so I won’t hold that all on them. The bar was the only nice thing in the hotel. That also had huge roaches outside and a possum ( looked like a rat but I was told it was a possum). I was charged a different price for ever day I stayed with you and taxes each day as well as all these other extra fees. When I booked through booking.com it only mentions a $20 daily resort fee and taxes. But I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t be charged taxes on the daily and have a different room price for every single day I stayed. We tried to stick it out because we drove 14 hours for this vacation and none of us actually had a good time. I must say it’s a shame that you guys paint a pretty picture online and charge so much but aren’t really providing what you paint. If I would have know these pools and slides were more for toddler I never would have booked with you guys. It’s awful that you falsely advertise things for your hotel just to get people to book. You even give us paperwork that states “ No hidden fees” “ 100% satisfaction guarantee” “Current and accurate hotel information”…
The options for water fun in the sun are endless. We had an absolute blast. Thus was our 4th year in a row staying at Seacrest, and the staff is so kind, the maids are so helpful and patient, and it was the best 4 days of my year so far. ❤
