Gross, rooms have been updated terribly, stuff is falling apart. Horrible craftsmanship at this what was a crack hotel. Also someone farted in the lobby bathroom. Won’t be coming back and I see I am not the only one.

This is a newly renovated property and both the rooms and the common areas are clean and modern. ALL of the staff are good… very good. You DO NOT want to eat here. Most of the food is processed and frozen. The Brine cafe is good for drinks ONLY but the bar closes at 10 PM. The breakfast buffet cost $14.95 and it’s just barely OK. Thus why I gave it four stars. Suggestion: 1.) Bring in an Executive Chef to re-vamp your menu to include more freshly prepared items.. taste is important. 2.) Change the bar time and open at 7PM - 12PM. With the staff shortage at restaurants and bars, people are eating and drinking at places their staying at. ( It’s convenient and people can wait in the comfort of their own room while waiting for food orders.) - This hotel could benefit if the food was better and the bar was open longer. It’s a win/win for guests and the hotel.

We stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Myrtle Beach for 3 nights at the end of June 2021 so that our son could play at a baseball tournament at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex. As others have noted, the first impression of this hotel is not a great one, as it is located in a somewhat "gritty" area - abandoned shopping malls, bridges with graffiti, etc. However, once you step inside, things improve rapidly, as the lobby area is lovely - very open, with a nice bar and lots of seating. It is evident that the hotel has recently undergone a big renovation. All of the desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. Once of the reasons I chose this hotel was because reviews here and on other sites all noted the property's cleanliness. And, these reports are accurate - the whole property is very clean and well-maintained. Our room was a two-queen room with a balcony overlooking the intercoastal waterway. It wasn't the largest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but it worked for the 3 of us (and baseball gear). The furnishings are simple but nice; the bathroom shower had awesome water pressure. Housekeeping was good, and they did come in every day (not sure all hotels are doing this yet because of COVID precautions). The hotel generally was quiet; however, on our last night there, some people were using the pool until about 2 am and were not being quiet. My husband had to go down to the lobby to see if the clerk could ask them to leave (the pool is only supposed to be open until 9 or 10 pm). We did eat in the hotel restaurant one night (which is really the lobby) - the menu is limited but the food was very good, and it was very quiet and peaceful, unlike many restaurants in Myrtle Beach, which are packed. Our son used the hotel pool - it was very clean and overlooked the intercoastal; the pool itself could stand to be re-glazed. Breakfast is offered, but it costs about $15, which seemed like a lot. There is a Bob Evans about 2 minutes from the hotel. The Boathouse restaurant is next door - we also ate there and had a good meal; nothing fancy, but a good fried shrimp platter. While the hotel wasn't close to the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, it was a very easy drive to and from on 31. I was glad we weren't in a busier area of Myrtle Beach. Overall, I would recommend this property, especially if you are coming to Myrtle Beach for a youth sports tournament and aren't looking to stay beachfront. It is by no means a luxury hotel, but it is a nice, clean hotel with a better-than-average lobby/bar/restaurant.

Room Tip: Recommend rooms with a view of the intercoastal; other rooms would have views of the parking lot...

Driving through an industrial area on the way to this hotel, my stomach sank. Based on the location, I was worried. Once we entered the lobby, it was really quite lovely. The common areas and rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff were all very nice and helpful, with the exception of one night when I called the front desk. The person I spoke with was abrupt and unaccommodating. My husband and I had been placed in the first room, on the first floor, by the lobby...worst room to be in if you are a light sleeper. I could hear all the comings and goings in the hallway, by the elevator. There are no outdoor seating areas on the ground floor either (unlike the ones above which have balconies). The window doesn't even open, I am guessing for safety reasons?). The front desk person the following day was much more pleasant, moving my husband and I to a quieter room. The lobby was very nice, with a bar/restaurant with games, including corn hole, Jenga, mini-putt, and Connect 4. While we were there the hotel was hosting a corn hole tournament. While practicing, NO ONE was wearing a mask...apparently the hotel does not mandate (or enforce) a mask wearing policy. If staying her for business, it is perfect. If you are looking for a vacation, not so much.

I can't say enough great things about this property. From my check-in to check-out, everything was perfect. Harshil and his staff have worked very hard to present a top-notch experience to all guests who choose the property. The lobby and bar area are top-notch in design and very spacious! Plenty of room to invite the entire family for parties or just an intimate dinner with friends. Not to mention the view from the rooms over the waterway! I'll definitely be back and share the experience with others who visit Myrtle Beach!
