My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to stay in the Naturescape room at Santosha for six nights in June 2020. While we had stayed at Santosha numerous years previously, we were rarely able to stay more than two or three nights. This year, after a harrowing 2020 for the world and us personally, this lengthy stay allowed us time to unwind, breathe, converse, and relieve much of the stress we had been experiencing in the months before our visit. To sit on the balcony deck listening to the myriad frogs in the pond below, watch the song birds enjoy seed with the squirrels and chipmunks at their corncob feeders, all surrounded by whispering trees and fragrant gardens, was spirit-refreshing. The sumptuous breakfast provided by the amiable innkeeper was unsurpassed, bar none, in its creativity, freshness, and local flavor. We are thankful for the extended time we were blessed with at Santosha.…
My recent weekend at Santosha on the Ridge offered comfort, care, and relaxation with just the right amount of socializing. The nearby hiking paths, restaurants, and local stores make this an ideal place to escape for a week or a weekend. The proximity to NYC is an added bonus. Oh, yes, and the breakfasts are a spectacular blend of healthy, fresh, homemade, food that satisfies the soul. Thanks to Leslie and Gene for a wonderful time.
Just had the most relaxing, peaceful overnight stay at Santosha on the Ridge! Nestled in art-filled woods overlooking the Delaware River, proprietors Leslie Underhill and Gene Prospero have created a serene sanctuary where you can reset and refresh. You’re free to plug in or unplug, they make you feel comfortable and you’ll enjoy a delicious organic breakfast after a restful night’s sleep. All the rooms are great; we were so fortunate to be upgraded to the stunning Naturescape! Highly recommend, looking forward to a 2nd stay!!
We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent "leaf peeping" trip through New England. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Leslie and her Gene were amazing hosts ... friendly and accomodating! Would definitely return.
My wife and I won a overnight stay for a night through a auction fundraiser. We finally found a day we could go up on a quick little getaway. What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast and also beautiful area! Kudos to the owner Leslie, you have an amazing place. Beautiful location and scenery...Welcoming in everyway possible! Very relaxing atmosphere! Breakfast was phenomenal, great conversations! We left wanting more, we really wish we stayed longer! We will definitely be returning for a longer visit next time!!
