If you are traveling with elderly or disable double check the layout of unit, then double check that you will be getting that unit before checking in. I traveled with my 93 year old mother in a wheelchair, I requested a handy cap unit, they put ramps up which was good, but the bathroom was not equipped for handicap. So not being able to give her a shower, was not acceptable. We was given a shower chair, whom ever through this was a good idea didn't know how big the shower was. As a owner a Shawnee I am total disappointed. Lacking of communication I give it two stars

We have been to Shawnee before and Depuy Village. Never in the winter season. And never again. The heating unit when on is loud on the first floor and in order to get the proper room temperature you have to set it 4 degrees higher than you want and when it gets warm enough you have to turn it down as it surges to that high temop. then an hour later it is cold and the cycle starts again. Very annoying.

Shawnee DePuy was just right for our Pocono getaway. We booked via RCI. It’s not fancy or luxurious, but quiet, comfortable, and casual - fitting for the area. I really liked the unit location, as it was all the way in the back of DePuy (D114). The view from the porch was the woods - which was great. It was very quiet and peaceful - really nice for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! The unit itself was clean, cute, and no-frills, with a fully stocked kitchen (we cooked a lot, so this was great!). The resort location allowed us to explore hiking trails in the DE Water Gap, Bushkill Falls, and also take a trip to Jim Thorpe, plus there were several good restaurants close by (we were pleasantly surprised!). There were four of us in the unit, and we were very comfortable with the size of the unit. I really liked that we had our own “little” house. Also, we all agreed that the beds and pillows were so comfortable, which really matters when you’re away from home!…

We had a cabin with a nice view. We didn't see the cleaning ladies but everything was nice and clean. I feel terrible we arrived late and the young men at the front desk were wonderful, they were more than helpful unfortunately I can't find my paper with their names. Anyway they worked 8/29 around 9pm.we couldn't find our cabin and they managed to change it to Cabin 110 Thanks again guys

I truly enjoyed my quiet relaxation here and the scenery is breathtaking. I have been here a couple of times before with my family and always love to come back. It’s like a home away from home. It’s country but an easy drive to NYC for a day trip. There are many attractions nearby. The staff is very accommodating.
