I stayed here for a weekend for family trip and as soon as I got into my room there was a stink. I checked the bathroom and found hair in the sink and human fecal matter in the toilet. Along with mold growing on the walls and unsanitary conditions in general. Come to the fridge to find left over food in the fridge and exposed wire coming from the walls. Also not to mention our door opened without a key needed at first. Then on our last day we get a knock at the door from some of the staff accusing my 1 year old daughter of pickpocketing, A 1 YEAR OLD GIRL. I simply told them it’s not possible and the worker, whom I’m guessing is the manager made a punching motion towards me and threatened me with physical violence and called me an a—hole and walked away. 0/5 stars will never stay at any quality in again.

I checked in on a Monday into Tuesday. All was ok; Until I got to my room. It smelled and the lid on the toilet didn't even fit it. You would sit on the lid and also on the actual toilet! It was gross but whatever, I cleaned it with Lysol. Thursday afternoon comes and there is no more hot water! Luckily, I had already taken my shower. Friday I had to attend a funeral. Still no hot water. No shower for me. It is now 2:30AM Saturday. I called the front desk and asked when check out was. She informed me it was 12 noon. I asked for an hour later check out and was told no. Mind you, I have been here almost a week. I had to go to a funeral with no shower. The hot water is still absent so I will have to travel 430 miles home with no shower! For two days I can't even take a shower, and you can't extend an hour?? Shame on you! Stay away from this hotel!!! Oh and housekeeping came and took out the trash, replenished the towels but didn't bother to vacuum or make the beds. What the hell am I paying for???

I am an Allegheny College student and ended up contracting covid. Since I live out of state, their plan had me stay at this "motel" (if it can even be called that) for 10 days. The sink pipes broke and I had to empty out my trash can full of dirty soap water in the bathtub multiple times, or else it would get all over the floor. Bugs were EVERYWHERE--dead on the windowsill when I arrived and crawling all over the room. So far I've had to kill at least 10 (and growing). One of the lightbulbs in the bathroom flickers on and off and dies everytime I turn on the lights. And the phone that I used to call the front desk (since I can't leave my room because I'm quarantining I have to call them for everything) literally broke at one point. The worst of all of this though is when I voiced my concerns to the manager, April. This woman has no care for the customers that stay here--she is self absorbed and extremely rude. When I told her that these conditions were absolutely unacceptable for someone to be dealing with while recovering from covid (symptomatic at that) she laughed and claimed that I have been annoying her front desk staff with complaint calls everyday (which is not true--besides for two other times when I did complain, I would ask the front desk for more towels, more tissues, etc because again--I literally cannot leave my room). When I told her that wasn't true, she gaslit me and claimed that she had written records of that everyday. When I told that I could easily come down and grab what I needed, she then rudely interjected that I wasn't allowed to do that (something we both knew, and by saying this she probably knew how disrespectful this sounded). I then asked her "then what the f am I supposed to do" (the expletive slipped out but honestly, I was beyond fed up). She then told me "you're done" and hung up the phone. So much for customer service. Do NOT and I repeat do NOT book this hotel; the managers (especially April) do not care one bit about the quality of service and circumstances that their guests need and are going through.

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel for the evening for a special occasion as we had just got married Friday evening when we made the reservation the desk clerk on the phone told us the reservation would one non smoking room with a king size bed when we walked into the room after checking in there was no king size bed it was a full size bed and that’s not what we are being charged for .. other issues with the room were the tub stayed plugged like going fill it to take a bath so therefore we had to hold up the tub stopper for water to drain and there other issue with the room was that the ac would make a rattling noise when it was done running its cycle this was a disappointment to stay at this hotel and giving 1.star was still to high of rating in my opinion

There is nothing fancy about this hotel. I did feel I got what I paid for. My expectations were met. But at the time of my stay I felt as if they were still going through a remodel. My room only had one working outlet and the walls looked a little aged. But my bed was comfy and my bathroom was very nice. But this is not a vacation hotel. This is just a quick stay in and out. Workout room was my biggest disappointment. Very dated and cold. This is almost a must in my opinion for travelers like myself.

Newly updated, check in/out was easy, staff was friendly. Easy to find, close to Allegheny College. Breakfast is small, but there were hot items such as waffles and scrambled eggs. The beds were comfortable.

College orientation for my son. I’ll be visiting Meadville often over the next 4 years and you can guarantee that I will not sleep there ever again. This was one of the worst hotel/motel rooms I’ve experienced in 30 years

I stayed here a few years back and this trip was much much better ! Very thoughtful staff and clean. I believe they are continuing to make improvements and updates and their pet friendly policy was the main reason we went back.

The staff made this stay wonderful from the greeting to departure. The people are kind and serve well. The facility is laid out so that our room had an interior hallway door and an exterior door to the pool area. This is a special facility that brings back memories of a traveling when I was younger. The facilities are about 50 years old, but well maintained. The room was cool, clean and smelled fresh. No problems during our stay of 2 days. The breakfast was great and again the staff are excellent.

Do not stay here. The rooms are old, dirty and unsafe. Our friends walked into 2 strangers having sex on the bed of the room that was checked out to my friends! Additionally, the staff was unprofessional and rude. Breakfast was mediocre and there is no pool. Augh.
