Hotel is very clean and updated. The room-suite was huge. Nice kitchen area with cabinets, sink and countertop space. Fridge, microwave and toaster oven. The seating area was also large with a nice pull-out couch and two ottomans. Beds were comfy with nice pillows and linens. We were there for the Renaissance Faire and the hotel was less than 10 minutes away. The free breakfast was great. Lots of choices including hot items that were better than the usual hotel microwave sausage and eggs. They even had biscuits and gravy one morning.
This facility was very clean throughout - public areas, hallways, rooms, breakfast area. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful also. My room was spacious with comfortable furnishings. My room looked out on the back which was an open field. Very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast included hot choices - eggs and a breakfast meat - waffles, fruit, other items. I highly recommend this lodging and would gladly return.
So we booked this hotel specifically for the pool as we had LAX tournament end at 1:00pm the 9:00am next day. Needed pool for kids for 6 hours. Arrive to a closed pool And has been closed for quite some time as water was green. Excuse was Covid. Ya that ship has sailed. There site still lists pool under amenities. Corporate response was our site, main site not the individual hotel site, states select closers at some hotels. That’s pretty broad. Take it off the hotels site. Miss leading.
We booked two rooms here. The facility seems new, and was clean, quiet and comfortable. The included breakfast had a nice array of choices including eggs, sausage, Waffles, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, jogurt, and fruit. The price was reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.
Pros: 1. The rooms are fairly big, nice and clean 2. The hotel itself is clean 3. It is very quiet even though I heard people running in the halls at night - the walls are not thin and you don't hear your neighbors at all. You could our neighbors in the hallway but not in our room 4 Very pretty and relaxing view if your room window faces the field in the back - probably not so great if you face the highway in the front Cons: 1. Forget about breakfast - the line was about 20 people to make waffles or even get into the serving area. Plan on going out for breakfast. No one was wearing masks except 1 other family even though Philadelphia required masks in all indoor venues. 2. No one was wearing masks anywhere in the hotel (also at breakfast as mentioned above) 3. Forget about the pool - it is tiny and if one family of 4 people goes they will take up the entire pool and a few times i came to check if the pool was free I saw drinking cups floating in it and bags of chips thrown around and floating. 4. Room was very stuffy at night, had to figure out how to play with the air conditioning/heating/fan to keep the temperature comfortable - just keep the fan on low all the time and it seems to be comfortable is what I figured in the last few days of our stay.…
This was a gem of a place. Easy to access, easy to get to multiple places in a short drive in Lancaster County and its attractions and very affordable. Modern facilities and building. The shower was a bit odd (not a sliding door but a single pane in a fixed position) and the TV is weirdly mounted so it does not align in line-of-sight where you might watch from bed or sofa, but those are small quibbles. The view from outside our window was spectacular and the staff very courteous and helpful. Definitely would return here.
This is an awesome place to stay - it is clean, quiet, and reasonably priced! Very convenient to Lancaster and Hershey - we visited both during our stay. Front desk personnel were very accomodating and friendly. If we are ever back in the area, we look forward to staying here again! Thank you!
We came from a bad experience at another Comfort Suites, and so we were on guard here. The people at the front desk - actually love their job and it shows from the start. They smiled, warmly greeted us, and recognized us as Choice Members too. The room was perfect, quiet, clean and everything else. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and very nice ham!
My friend and I recently stayed at the Comfort Suites Manheim and we were both so pleased with this hotel! I had a beautiful room facing the farmlands in the back; he faced the highway in the front. I can only speak for myself when I say I thought the hotel was very clean and the staff was fabulous! Special thank you to Tia for blocking my room with the nice view and shout outs to Erin and Brandy too at the Front Desk who were friendly, professional and efficient. My room was HUGE! It had 2 queen beds and a sofa. Bath products smelled good. I took advantage of the pool (very small) and gym too. I had a wonderful night's sleep. It was so quiet and they also institute a quiet policy after 10pm which I think is great! The free breakfast was definitely ample as well. Good scrambled eggs, fruit, muffins, coffee, juice etc. This hotel is conveniently located about 30 minutes from Hershey. On the way back to NYC, my friend and I stopped at Lititz, PA which was a cute little town. Highly recommend if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.…
hotel is pretty new so everything was clean and in good condition. standard room layout. ac was quiet and comfortable. staff were friendly. pool was clean and not crowded when we were there. The one notable downside was that the free breakfast was pretty weak. free choices were limited and not very healthy (cmon guys, no bananas!?) Our kids’ cereal and milk was extra but the hotel room rates are very reasonable, so it all works out :) I suggest asking for a room facing the rear. it looks out onto scenic farm landscape (as opposed to highway view at the front). There’s a nice patio area behind the hotel with picnic tables to take in the view (there was also a little tiki bar setup but it wasn’t open when we were there). we enjoyed watching the sheep grazing at sunset.
