All the guides who are hired on a free lance basis were excellent. However, SaudiArabiantours.net is a poor company with weak service. Their phone number is not connected and when you have a problem you cannot connect with them. They use "bait and switch" tactics. They offer breakfasts every day. They only happen if the hotel offers them. If not, you don't get them. One hotel they put us in had no toilet paper, no towels and no drinking water. Guides work for any company who calls, Do yourself a favor and book with any other company. If not you will get cheated.
Just returned from my trip and the kids had a blast. We stayed 1 night and did Dutch winter wonderland. We had a suite and it was nice and spacious and cutely decorated. Pros: indoor pool was nice - life guards were present and the water temperature was great. Cons: hospitality from staff was a bit lacking you really had to seek someone out for assistance, couldn’t figure out the elevator so if you have problems with steps forget it. Maybe its only for staff? but it was locked. We bare bears cafe was ok but very expensive just a few drinks of a hot chocolate, a couple waters and a couple milk boxes was $40.00. Another thing Dutch wonderland closes at 8 and if you want a hot drink when you walk back you cant as the cafe also closes at 8. They would make more money if they opened a little later. The arcade was cute but most the games were out of order. Some were marked others were not and we wasted too much money on non functional machines. Breakfast was really slow and our order has to be redone as it was not done as we ordered and took forever. All in all kids had fun but would prob not stay there again, for the price I expected a little better service and amenities.…
This hotel is great for kids. There was alot to do for them. They have alot of activities for them in the lobby which is not connected inside. So you go outside and swipe in to get into the lobby for side entrances. They also have a ping pong table in indoor pool area. They have a hot tub. It looks like they have a nice outdoor pool area as well. There is no table to eat in your room. No chair to sit only a bean bag chair. My kids are excited to go back in summer.
Great for kids. Adults will have issues. Staff are accommodating. Need a sign for hut tub that's says kids under a certain age can't use it. A little bit more chlorine needed in the pool. We'll be back.
Indoor pool closed early due to no life guard available, staff was rude when I questioned why the manager was not able to assist, was told they could only have licensed lifeguards. Poor service, food was horrible. I decided to leave and was almost charged for a full day even though me and my grandkids were there for 3 hours. Finally I was granted a full refund and went to the Eden Resort. Best decision.
Be aware that this is Pennsylvania and the splash pad and outdoor pool will be closed in cooler months. There is still an indoor pool, a large yard, an arcade (must buy tokens), and a coloring & crafts room. Lots to do to keep little kids active and occupied. At night, there are firepits in the yard and a lighted area to play in or sit away from the fire pits. The room was clean and well themed. I appreciated the no waste shampoo and body wash pumps in the bathroom. My only complaints were that there was no microwave in our room and that the pre-made breakfast options were stale and overpriced. The restaurant was closed the morning of our stay so I can't say how those options were. The coffeeshop was great and had fun cartoon themed options.
The family-friendly layout with the option for bunkbeds in the room is great- my kids loved this. I was not a huge fan of the TVs in the beds, mainly because they were so glitchy. We were on an end unit so the only noise issues we had were some random car backfiring in the parking lot for a half hour one night, which was very annoying. Outside pool area was nice but there seemed to be a lot of unsupervised kids. Kind of expensive for a motel but the discounted Dutch Wonderland passes probably made it worthwhile. It was nice to be able to walk back and forth between the two places. My biggest complaint is that the double/queen sized bed in the room was pretty uncomfortable.
Pretty nice motel but a bit small for families. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and night time cartoons at the patio with the screen. The restaurant was a bit pricey for the amount and quality of food served. Very Thin walls and we can hear loud music for half of the night.
This is a motel. Besides that its perfectly fine. The rooms have some smell but it seems to be coming from the outside. You are in a farm area so you will get winds of poop smell when the amish are fertilizing the fields not their fault. The restaurant onsight was fun to eat at. There was a indoor pool still open but was overcrowded. The outdoor area is great but feel the pools should remain open for a few more weeks. Not sure why everyone feels the need to close down the hotel pools after labor day it was still 85 and sunny in Sept. other than that family had fun. Fire pits were great at night and the place isnt as bad as you are reading on the other reviews.
We were excited to stay here when we won a one night stay and tickets to Dutch Wonderland in a raffle at my child's school. But after looking it up and seeing so many bad reviews I was really nervous that it would be a horrible experience! We even brought our own linens, pillows, towels, and clorox because so many reviews said the place was dirty and understaffed. Well we had a great stay and were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room. We got the theme we had requested, the kids had bunk beds with their own tv's in them which was cool. There were no signs of bugs or dirt. The room was really nice! Even though it was after labor day, they had turned the outdoor pool and splash pad back on because it was so hot out that weekend. The kids loved it. One thing I liked is that we had no plans after dinner (at Lancaster Brewing up the street - which was yummy!) but the lawn area at the hotel is nice and big with tables and chairs and fire pits. My husband and I sat at the fire pit with the baby while the kids ran around playing until the cartoons came on the big screen around 830. It was so much better than being stuck in one room together watching tv until bed time. As far as the lobby attractions like dining and arcade etc, we didn't try any of those out so I can't give a review there. But the staff was all helpful and nice, and the store was fun! We got some great Adventure Time shirts and I got a Jake magnet for my van :) All in all, we were all very happy with our stay!…
