My wife and I took an impromptu trip to the Lancaster area and decided to stay at the Fulton Steamboat Inn. We had driven past it many times over the years and figured we would give it a try. Our 4 day stay turned out to be one of the best experiences we have ever had at a hotel. The room, staff, restaurant and all services were exceptional. We stayed in a King room on the upper sun deck and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place and really can't say enough about it. We both decided we will make this a getaway destination for future special occasions!

I mean, how could you not notice the giant steamboat in the middle of the land in Lancaster? It is always great to hear people finally deciding to stop by, and they are usually in awe of our delightful atmosphere and beautiful decor. It is lovely that you and your wife were able to have the perfect vacation we always hope to provide our guests. Hopefully, you took advantage of the private balcony with all of our sundeck rooms and the electric fireplace in the room. It is also gratifying to hear that our staff and services were exceptional. We have such a hardworking crew from top to bottom that work their hardest to keep our property in good condition inside and out. Please don’t change a thing, you’re already doing everything right! We had such a nice stay this weekend. We knew not to skip the on-premise restaurant from past stays and decided to book both dinner and breakfast reservations there. Bill Horn playing piano and singing during dinner was an unexpected and delightful surprise. He had people singing along and dancing beside their tables. After dinner, we enjoyed a long visit to the pool and hot tub. We woke up this morning and I told my husband, “I live here now, please visit as often as you’d like 😊!” Your hotel is a truly unique and enjoyable experience (perfectly quaint) and we can’t wait to return again soon.

From all of our staff, thank you for leaving this impeccable review of our unique property! Knowing you could take advantage of the excellent food in Huckleberry's Restaurant is delightful. We love having Bill Horn entertain in our dining room on weekends as he has for years. It is also great to hear that you enjoyed our indoor heated pool and hot tub, and hopefully, you took advantage of our adults-only swimming hours of 10 pm through Midnight. It is truly heartwarming that everything was perfect and that our crew's hard work is appreciated! We will have to prepare a room for our new permanent guest, just let us know when you will be arriving! This was my second time staying aboard the Steamboat. Great hotel near everything. Nice grounds with ponds, fire pit and koi pond. Even a nice playground area for small kiddos. I came down to Lancaster with my Sister for a birthday getaway. We had fun in the Tavern, Zachariah is an awesome bartender! We used the pool late Saturday evening for the adult swim from 10p-12a. Nice clean rooms! Will definitely stay here again! We had tickets to The First Noel at the American Music Theatre (AMC) just down the street from the Fulton. We had dinner in Tavern before going to AMC for the show!

A great experience. It's probably what being on a steamboat would truly of been like. Beautiful rooms. Fantastic bar and restaurant. Visually stimulating experience. I would recommend that anyone near here take at least two days to enjoy it all.

The Steamboat Inn could not have been a more pleasant experience. Checking in Maureen could not have been more welcoming & accommodating. The room was perfect. We ate at the Huckleberry Restaurant with Kelly serving us dinner. Kelly was very personable. The food was outstanding & the French fries were crunchy on the outside & warm on the inside . We will definitely be staying here when we return to see the next show at Sight &Sound. Thank you for a memorable wonderful experience.

Hotel rooms was disgustingly NASTY. The carpet looked like it hasn't been cleaned since they installed it. Very unpleasant staff upon arrival. If I could give it a zero rating it would be well deserved. One star because the food ok. Wouldn't recommend.

Thank you for reviewing our property, the Fulton Steamboat Inn. We appreciate your feedback regarding your room. We regularly clean our carpets; twice a year, a private company comes out and cleans them. We know that some carpeting is still not in the most excellent condition. We are having all our carpeting removed and replaced with vinyl flooring on all three floors. Our first floor is completed, and we hope to have the second and third floors replaced this upcoming January during our off-season. We apologize for the poor experience at check-in. We pride ourselves on welcoming guests from the moment they enter our doors, and it is very disappointing to hear we failed at making you feel welcome. I have already spoken to our staff to ensure we always greet and welcome our guests warmly. We apologize for not meeting our extremely high expectations, and we sincerely hope to welcome you aboard again in the future to show off our new rooms and give you the warm feeling that has made us so many people's favorite hotel in the area.

This hotel is awesome!! The room was amazing. The bed was beyond comfortable. My husband and I went for a quick getaway and this was perfect. The pool was great. Water was warm enough to swim in comfort. Great jacuzzi. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We loved it! Definitely will be going back!!

We were very pleased with everything. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal. The room itself was inviting with soft pillows and cotton sheets. The towels and amenities were of good quality as well. The decor was pleasant to look at.

Located at a busy intersection, but oasis of clean, spacious rooms. Many area attractions are a short drive away. Staff were friendly & helpful. On-site restaurant is good as well. Even in non-peak season of mid-October, Lancaster area is busy. Nice to have a big, comfortable and CLEAN room to land in.

Be aware of your reservation. I attempted to book online asked for 1 date availability, and when I created the reservation the sate was incorrect. I didn't realize it until I arrived at the hotel to be informed that my reservation was passed. I ended up paying twice for my stay. The hotel refused to make good on the reservation. Just be aware of the actual dates you reserve you will not get refunded. They will say that it is your error. And honestly this hotel is not worth $500 a night.....that's what I ended up paying for my stay.

We pride ourselves on providing all of our guests with a truly enjoyable experience, and this includes being fully transparent of all charges because nobody likes hidden or surprise fees. We are sorry that you booked your first reservation for the incorrect dates which resulted in a no-show charge. Our system automatically sends out confirmation emails as a way to ensure that no guest errors were made and we are always happy to assist with adjustments of guest bookings if notified in advance. While we will likely not be able to waive a no-show fee for a guest booking error, we understand that life circumstances occur and are happy to speak with anyone who has extenuating circumstances regarding a late cancellation or no-show fee.
