Absolutely loved the pool area and amenities at this hotel. We also loved the layouts of the suites - they are perfect for families traveling with young kids. As family friendly as everything was - the rooms itself were so dirty. My kids feet were black from dirt just playing in the room for 10mins, and there were dead bugs and spiders throughout. The balcony also smelled like mildew a bit. I would love to come back here cause of the overall property and proximity to theme parks, but absolutely would be looking for a renovation or some indication that their cleaning practices have improved first.
We enjoyed our first stay since the COVID situation, Have been to this hotel many times. Pros: Villa Room was clean and looked recently updated (we are regulars) Still Pet Friendly Bunk Bed Villa room ideal for families of 4-5. Great Pool, and time slots well managed (people just need to be more understanding) I saw the pool water tested several times, well managed Free Ice Pops for Kids always a nice touch Dinner at Arthurs was good, with good service. For Pet rooms especially, I actually like the "optional" house keeping. Cons (I realize these are due to COVID and lack of employees so hopefully will improve next time) No waitress services around Pool, long wait at times at food/drink truck No Garfields No more prime rib Buffet at Arthurs Inconsistent quality of breakfast buffet (one day eggs runny, one day they were ok) Pool music should be more upbeat, more resort like. Many songs were slow like love songs. actually some depressing. Even Island music would have been better As I say most of these Cons I am sure will improve as the workforce gets back to normal so I was very happy with my stay and will definitely return.…
My family and our close friends stayed at the Eden Resort overnight. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The exterior was very nice and the hotel and hotel grounds were very nice as well! We were not able to check in when we arrived as rooms were not ready yet but we were able to enjoy the indoor and outdoor pool until check in. The rooms were spacious enough and they gave us an adjoining room with our friends which helped. My only issue which was a pretty big one was that clean bedding was not on one of our beds. I let the front desk know and someone changed our bedding. They also credited our room for $50. Every other aspect of hotel was great! We will return and hopefully stay longer.
This is my second time staying at Eden resort and it will definitely be my last. The last time i stayed here was the spring of 2019 and we had an amazing time. We actually recommended this hotel to a few family and friends who stayed there as well based on our raving reviews. This trip however was a disaster. Hotel rooms are dusty and the carpet was disgusting. After walking on the carpet barefoot for 20 minutes or so i looked at my children's feet and they were BLACK!!! You can actually feel the dirt and grim sticking to your feet on the carpet.I cleaned their feet with a hotel towel and we were forced to wear flip flops the entire time we were inside our room. We complained to the front desk and they didn’t offer any solution to our situation and basically brushed it off by saying they would pass along the info to the cleaning staff. This wasn’t isolated to just our hotel room my sister and her family stayed in the room next to ours and their carpet was also disgusting. I took pictures of my children's feet and the towel after i cleaned them…
This was the most relaxing weekend getaway we have had, you do no have to leave the resort, the pools are beautiful and very well kept, laundry room/vending machine on every floor lots of out door games available including a basketball court. All staff were friendly. Only issue was the sofa bed was horrible.
Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 2) stayed in a 2 bedroom penthouse villa. Logistically the layout was perfect, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a kitchen and living room. My husband and I were able to relax and watch tv while the kids slept. Unfortunately, the room was dirty, the floors left our feet filthy and black! I mentioned this to the front desk at check out and I hope they invest in steam cleaning the carpets. The pool was decent and the location was good. The poolside staff was very friendly. FYI- they do not make up the room unless you call and request which was an annoyance.
Came here with my family for the weekend. Got lost a few times because the hotel is massive, but every time I needed to find my way I came across this lady from housekeeping (Jess I think her name was) and instead of just pointing she escorted me herself. This place has some of the friendliest staff I've ever seen and the property is beautiful. The rooms were clean and the food was good. All around good trip. We will return.
Stayed here for the weekend with my extended family and was disgusted. Our room was completely dusty with cobwebs lining the baseboards. 3 spiders noted, old blood on the curtains, and water stains with MOLD growing on the bathroom ceiling. See pictures attached. Will not be coming back
Beautiful property and very family friendly. The staff went above and beyond and we will definitely return. Place was very clean and activities for families exceeded our expectations. Very happy with our stay here and would highly recommend this place
We are staying up in Lancaster for a wedding and the first hotel was horrible. We came over to Eden to hope to get a room. Not only was Jenesy super friendly she also was able to get us two beautiful rooms on the same floor. Jenesy and the Eden saved our trip.
