We were there for the weekend (Saturday - Monday) for a family wedding. When we arrived we were extremely disappointed to be told that the hotel was overbooked and we would have to move to another hotel 10 mins away. This should not be done to reservations at all. But the fact that it was done to a reservation that was part of a wedding block is unacceptable. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but when a bride brings family together, for what is supposed to be a fun weekend celebrating, but some family is excluded, that is just wrong and a terrible way to do business. We were looking forward to being at the hotel with our family, and not turned away. My husband was mad because we didn't stay at Eden Resort to begin with since it's amazing. Being turned away, WHEN WE HAD A RESERVATION, just put him over the top. What a bad decision it was to ever deal with Hampton Inn for something important like a wedding weekend. I will tell whoever listens to never trust a reservation at any Hampton Inn again for fear of their over-booking policy and making traveling more stressful. Shame on you all for how you handle your business and screw over your guests. Hampton Inn sucks and I will avoid at all costs in the future…
4th visit with the dog along and always are welcomed and satisfied with amenities. Staff helpful and accommodating. Missed not having a waffle maker. Although we requested a ground floor room, seldom heard door noise or hallway voices. Nearby Isaacs Deli had yummy sandwiches and was in the adjacent parking lot. A very satisfaction visit!
Hotel is very nice outside and inside. Rooms were also nice, beds comfortable. Water pressure in shower strong. Staff was friendly, accommodating, professional. Pool was nice and area kept clean. Heated when we were there. Labor Day weekend. Breakfast was good. Lots of options. Only disappointed in sausage which we usually like. Coffee good p but a little weak for me. Still enjoyed it. Would stay there again.
Room very cramped for a Hampton inn. Small area for clothes storage, no closet. Low end for hearing outside noises. Stayed at Another Hampton inn during same trip, much nicer. That being said, staff friendly and helpful. Fitness room very nice. Pool area great for relaxing. And room clean as expected. Just cramped.
I am a Hilton Honors member and this is my first negative experience and review. The room always felt humid and wet. The carpet was gross and it was difficult to control the thermostat. There was a hole patched and not painted and the ceiling looked like it had mold on it. It reeked like a pet was there previously. Not a fan of the new pet friendly model Hilton has adopted. Only certain rooms should be designated for pets. The staff was friendly, but that is the best I can say about this hotel.
Nice clean hotel....comfortable ,clean room, conveniently located....and a FRIENDLY, HELPFUL STAFF. Have no qualms about going back for a longer stay. Have stayed at many Hamptons..this was the best.! One tip however....go out for breakfast.
This Hampton Inn does not meet the high standards we have come to expect from Hilton and Hampton! When we first checked in, we realized that the tap water tasted terrible and was undrinkable. We went to the front desk and the woman on duty agreed and happily gave us 2 bottles of water. The next morning, we went to the desk and asked for additional bottled water. The woman on duty was rude and wanted to charge us $3 a bottle! When I mentioned that I was a Hilton Honors Silver Member, she indicated that it did not matter! The free breakfast had a very limited selection. We had stayed in several Hamptons during this road trip and all were fine, except for Lancaster. Do not stay here. In fact, Hilton should consider dropping this property as it is not a good showcase for Hilton quality.…
We stopped here for a quick getaway night. After enjoy Lancaster and the neighboring towns, we checked in and went to dinner. After dinner we enjoyed a nice swim in the outdoor pool. Outdoor pool area is nicely maintained with lots of places to sit. Towels were replenished frequently. Hotel and pool were crowed but it was still enjoyable. Breakfast was good with lots of extra seating, pool was again enjoyable before checkout. Would stay here again.
We were treated with outstanding service on the phone and as we checked in Anna at the front desk was beyond amazing! We shared our previous experience at a the resort we stayed in the night before and she made absolute sure we were comfortable!!!
My wife and I stayed at the Hampton during 6/24/22--6/27/22 as a getaway to celebrate our anniversary and attend the DAVID play. A very special thank you to the hotel staff, especially JENNIFER & TABBY for going out of their way to make us feel special. They put together a dozen of roses and a goody bag, then delivered it to our room.
