We went away for my birthday to Hershey and found the location to be perfect. Check in and out was easy. Staff was very friendly. The food and drinks at the restaurant were great and well priced. Guest room sadly did not rate as well. Lots of updates and repairs needed to the room. The bathroom had peeling wall paper, cracked tiles and water pressure issues. Bed linens and towels were all clean. The carpet had some stains by the fridge and the wall had crack repairs under the window. The mirror wall piece was missing a mirror. Tv and lights all worked fine Internet would constantly cut out. House keeping came in after the 1st night to take out the garbage only. No new towels and the bed wasn't made.
Racist, rude, and overall no value as a guest. No breakfast option because they are light and short staffed. If you book online, no receipt of offered. Please go somewhere else that they actually value you as a guest.
Very clean, well stocked . Larger fridge, everything was spot on. Only wished I had known the restaurant was closed ahead of time, but I should have guessed, seeing it was Easter weekend. I do really appreciate a clean room.
Although the booking said I only had to show id and credit card the staff demanded to scan my id. I refused for security reasons. Staff would not check me in , although I called Windham and booking.com. then the hotel charged me the full booking price after refusing me service.
This was our third get together before COVID-19 made us cancel our reservation that year. The lack of personnel available was not pressing but needed for service or questions. The sign at the office was a contact number for "Emergencies Only" which did not help with asking where to get a plastic bag for my room. Rooms were clean, attendant was available and was very helpful during check in.
This property was located right on Chocolate Avenue, close to Hershey attractions. The room rate was very reasonable compared to other properties. The entire hotel was very clean especially the rooms. The bathrooms looked as though they were recently renovated. The breakfast was very limited. It should have contained more options.
We reported the smell of urine coming from the closet in our room. Oh my contact at the front desk they told us it would be taken care of in the morning. We were told in the morning that we refused to allow someone in to investigate so they weren’t interested in helping us resolve the issue.
This place is outdated, in need of renovation with signs of decay everywhere. Everything else is ok / tolerable for one night stay but in all my travels I have never seen breakfast like in this place. Cereal , milk, coffee, three bananas and five apples. The owner is obviously cutting corners everywhere he/ she possibly can.
Very good stay, difficult parking due to a small parking area near room and the restaurant patrons also using the spaces in that area, the room was good, used a one bed room, was very small so don't recommend that for more than one person, service was great, staff were friendly and personable.
This hotel has been a great find! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great also - not too far from all things Hershey. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Another positive - they have a great restaurant on the lower level. The food was delicious!
