We found used soap and hair in the bathtub and the grout was moldy. The paint was chipped The carpet was stained . The breakfast was marginal. The elevator button on outside was patched with tape. Sanitizer near elevator was empty. The man at the front desk was very nice.
Let me start by saying I’m not a picky person and I’m very simple. This particular hotel was disgusting and did not meet my simple expectations. The room was dusty and obviously not wiped down well/at all (see lamp photo and tissue box cover for examples). There were dust webs all over the ceiling. The USB and the electrical outlets on the lamp didn’t work. Half of the wall outlets also didn’t work. The bathroom was a disaster. Black mold beside the tub. Mold and mildew all through the seems of the shower. The shower head was broken so we couldn’t adjust the pressure. There was a chunk taken out of the quartz around the shower lever so water could go into the wall. Water pressure was almost non-existent. We had to take the plug out of the sink drain to get the water to go down. When I tried to call the front desk on a Saturday mid morning, the phone just rang and rang. When we went to the front desk, still no one to be seen. We had to stop one of the cleaning staff in the hallway to get clean towels ( she was very nice and took care of it). The carpet in the hallway is heavily stained. The walls have cracks throughout the building. The card reader to come in the side door was broken….I feel like I could go on for days. Pros- Close to Hershey Park and Outlet shopping. The breakfast wasn’t bad. The decor was modern.…
Disgusting and filthy. When I asked for another room, I was told there were none. I asked to be transferred to a different hotel in their “group” and was denied. Just look at the pictures of my room….urine stains around toilet, carpet stained BLACK, splattering on mysterious substances all over walls. Chipped paint. Patched walls never painted.
My family stayed here for 3 nights to visit Hershey Park. This Inn shares the same parking lot with a crack motel. There were drug addicts looming everywhere. I personally did not feel safe. The hotel is run down. There is no breakfast or coffee as promised. I had to go down every morning to get coffee packets to make coffee in the room. They do not service your rooms but oddly the housekeeping lady knew what room I was staying in and what state I was from. She mentioned this in the elevator to me. The place also smells of pot. It is poorly insulated and you can hear everything through the walls. I do not recommend.
We planned to go to VA and to split the driving time on the way there and back. On the way down we stayed at another hotel snd it was horrible. We were supposed to stay on the way back as well but cancelled and chose this hotel instead. This was a much better choice. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. There was a ice walk in shower. We would stay here again.
One night stay while traveling north. Booked online & check in was quick and friendly. Room (2 queen) was spacious and clean and everything worked. Direct TV worked great until a big bad storm came by which knocked it out, Internet actually worked good too. It is in a convenient safe location with rather smallish parking lot with a few restaurants close by. Breakfast was sparse with no fruit or breads/emuffins etc but had hot egg and sausage patties - seems to be more the norm nowadays. Staff pleasant & efficient – price decent. Would stay again.
Arrived at this hotel late, smaller parking lot as it is not a super big hotel. Friendly staff but no breakfast of any kind was offered. Rooms are decently sized but not enough lighting for the place. Beds were okay but I felt that they were more on the worn down side. As far as covid precautions, I did not see any. It seemed to be mask optional, with more people not wearing it, nor was it enforced by staff. Clientele staying there were loud and it reeked heavily of marijuana smoke in the hotel, elevator and I smelled it in my bathroom. The smell of the smoke was so severe, it exacerbated my husband's asthma. Conveniently located by fast food areas and 20 minutes to hersheypark. The cons of staying here is enough for me not to come back.
the hotel was ok. the price was decent. Only things that were bad about the room was the shower had no water pressure at all and was warm even at the hot level. During covid still going i was surprised that the pool was open as i have been to other sleep inn locations and their pools were closed.
Despite mainly positive reviews, I was very disappointed with this hotel. They are not taking the pandemic seriously. No staff members were wearing masks, except for one while we were leaving. Housekeeping was not supposed to come make up my room, but they did anyways. I was going to tell the front desk about everything but they didn't even care to know how my stay was. I certainly won't return.
Our stay was how you wish and hope all stays should be. Very personable helpful and knowledgeable people manning the reception desk. Attention to C virus sanitizing and spacing and understandably juice, coffee and pastry was obvious. Our room, a double queen, was quite pleasant, quiet, cheery and clean with very comfortable beds. Everything including the wi fi worked well although the fridge could use some defrosting.... okay the facility was not perfect but it was all we could have asked for.
