I rented a two bedroom 1.5 bath condo at snow ridge village through travel advantage network (TAN). The location is awesome! Minutes from Jack Frost mountain’s skiing and snow tubing; you could probably walk there if you wanted to. It is also within 30 minutes from Jim Thorpe, big boulder, the crossings outlet stores, and multiple state parks. My following complaints are with TAN and their property management of this particular condo. I had trouble keying into the property with the code provided; I had to call customer service for them to reset the code. The steps leading into the condo were weak and wobbly, definitely need to be fixed or replaced. The fireplace apparently failed inspection in January, it’s now September. The entire condo smelled musty; I had to open the windows and air it out. The carpet of the living room floor was filthy; covered in stains. There were stains on the furniture. The upstairs bathroom faucet fell off and left water running when I turned the handle to brush my teeth. The bathtub drain was clogged; I would stand in inches of water as I showered. The bedroom window couldn’t be opened because the handle was broke. However, when I called TAN to report these issues after I checked out, the customer service representative was nice, helpful, and told me she would contact the property manager. …
It was very crowded but still nice to ski, recommendable to go with beginners and small kids. I would recommend to have better and healthier options for meal. You can sky at night that’s awesome. Will return next holidays
Old condo with poor lighting. Our condo had a leak inside the front door. There was to be a guard in the area, but he was only there from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and I'm not sure if he was there every day.
Really liked the area and the resort complex overall but our unit left a lot to be desired. It was pretty basic, no a/c (didn't need it and knew in advance so no biggie since weather cool), had a deck next to pond but it and furniture were covered in bird droppings and we're absolutely horrid...made use of entire deck impossible...could not believe Travel Advantage Network cleaning crew made no effort to clean. Upstairs light in master closet did not work, we replaced the bulb and still did not work...socket/wiring very loose...kinda scary thinking may be electrical issues. Overall not the cleanest condo we've ever stayed in...loved the area and attractions...did not love the unit. The Condo complex itself was nice overall though. Security guard at guard house entering very friendly and helpful.…
We enjoyed our time there; especially sitting on the patio and listening to the water fall and the frogs. We were disappointed with the creaking floors on the second floor. We though kitchen towels and hot pads should have been provided.
