This was nice relatively new hotel. The staff was friendly and they served breakfast. The rooms were comfortable. The first night was pretty quiet but the second night there were a lot more people and we heard doors slamming all hours. We heard there was a family reunion going on.
It was a perfect location to go to the on and off Waterfall Trolley in Corbett. Troutdale is a cute little town with good restaurants.
I would stay there again.

We stayed only one night. Reception provided us with masks and water, breakfast is served from 5 a.m in individual paper bags. Everything is clean, beds are fresh and comfortable, there is tea and coffee in the room, and everyone is happy to answer any question. We were impressed by hotel staff and how they manage their hospitality at this time. Well done, thank you.

I liked the carpet free flooring for the pet room we stayed in. I also like that the toilet and shower are separate from the sinks rather than in one spot for easier use by more than one person. The pet room was on the first floor and towards the back for easy out to the pet area. They also gave us dog treats. If you have a pet, this was a good place to stay, but if they are full, it can be like the kennel where one dog passes by and they all erupt in barking. Overall we were happy with it as a quick stay required us to bring our dog.

We stayed here on a Wednesday night after touring Columbia River Gorge East of Portland. Nice spot close to highway and still outside Portland.

Front desk clerk was friendly. Checked me in early and gave me some suggestions for dinner.

Clean room with comfortable beds. Had a little trouble getting the a/c where we wanted it.

Breakfast was about normal for Covid. Besides cereal they had bagels and peeled hardboiled eggs (separately packaged).

We stayed in four Comfort Inns on our Oregon trip. We will be staying in more in the future as we were impressed with the appearance, comfort, and cleanliness. They all seemed new, with all the conveniences such as many electrical outlets and charging stations. All had friendly, professional staff. Here the lovely woman at the desk was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and directions. Most were taking COVID precautions and had a breakfast bag. Here the bag was heavy on sugary items, but we appreciated the effort. This motel is an easy off from the highway, but don’t miss going into the charming town of Troutdale. I recommend di Pompello for Italian dinner. And after a hot 9-hour day of getting there, I had a craving for ice cream. We found a Dairy Queen right next door. This is an excellent location for visiting Multnomah Falls.

I especially liked the berm behind the motel for looking out onto a green hillside rather than a parking lot. I’m sure it also cut any noise from the highway and railroad. I would definitely stay here again. Our only disappointment was that they did not honor our request for a room, giving us the exact opposite of what we asked for. It seemed strange since we only saw three other people there and rooms seemed available.

Let's start positive. Bed was great and I had a good sleep. That's a lot relatively speaking, but lots of disappointing events. First, I was told they had a pool and that it was open. The pool turns out to be an outdoor jacuzzi, and it was shut down. Got to my room and found the coffee machine. It was partially full from the last tenants. Thought I'd use their tube of moisturizing cream. It was ALREADY half used. I was also told they had a continental breakfast. Nope. A take out sack of not so good items. I did this trip with a friend on our motorcycles- on arrival, he opens up his assigned room, and the bed doesn't even have sheets on it. His breakfast sack included a green banana, and a brown-sided, bruised orange. What the heck- this is not typical of Comfort Inns that I've stayed at before. Attention to detail sorely needed.

Comfortable and clean hotel right next to a Dairy Queen and across from a small airport. We were concerned about possible noise from the small airplanes and helicopters. To our surprise, we didn't hear anything from our room. Breakfast was very standard. It is located on the "other side" of the freeway from almost everything else but it is still a convenient location. We even walked to downtown Troutdale and there's a nice walkway underneath the freeway overpass. Easy access to the freeway makes it a pretty quick drive to downtown Portland.
We were here for a family event in Troutdale and would stay at this hotel again if we're in the area in the future.

We stayed here 1 night each at the beginning of our trip and at the end of our trip. First night we stayed our room, even though non-smoking, smelled like smoke and not very clean. I accidentally left my charging cords in the room, and thought I would pick them up on our return trip, but the hotel said they didn't find them. Hmmm. Maybe they slipped under the bed where they don't sweep. Second stay the room was cleaner and didn't smell. Breakfast was free and adequate. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Downtown Troutdale has some good restaurants and the hotel is convenient to the Portland Airport.

Stayed for 3 nights, there was no housekeeping the entire stay, don't know if that is standard practice, Covid, or what. The breakfast was very standard, yogurt, bagel, juice, coffee, nothing hot. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Would stay here again if in the area.

I’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn Troutdale a couple of times and find it a great place to rest my bones. The staff is great, especially Cash, it’s quiet and it’s very convenient. And it’s right next to great walking area close to the Sandy River before it empties into the mighty Colombia. And, at this time of year, you can pick wild blackberries as you’re strolling. How awesome is that?

Assuming of the domestic variety :), sure, Gisele! Just make sure you choose the "pet friendly" room types when you're making your reservation. Looking forward to having you here! All the best, Loree

Assuming you will have a car and simply don't want to take it downtown, there is a Park and Ride lot about eight minutes from the hotel, where you can pick up a MAX train into Portland, and easy transit around town once you're there. Glad you're coming back! Loree Harrell; GM
