We much enjoyed our stay. Renee was always smiling while managing the breakfast. Which was excellent. Michelle, at the front desk, was very helpful in answering my questions about reward points. The hotel takes cleaning seriously. The one shortcoming was that the hot tub is broken, but apparently they are working to get it fixed.

Hotel's Favourite
Hands down the best breakfast in a hotel since Covid began! Strawberry and regular waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon and so much more! The staff, especially Wendy and Erin, are super friendly and helpful. We are staying for 5 days while our home gets worked, and so far it’s been exceptional. Way to go St Helens!

Staff is always friendly. Breakfast is pleasant, good variety. And warm baked cookies in the evening! Love it here. Near the main highway, close to the main area of town. Not too far from Halloween town, short car ride.

Great last minute stay. I stopped in after a long travel day (I did not book anything ahead of time) and got a pet friendly room for a small extra charge. It is a dated hotel, but overall clean and comfortable. Great grassy area out front for dogs. Close to stores and restaurants. Pool looked like it was being renovated, so wasn't usable, which wasn't a problem for me. Great breakfast. As a solo female traveler (with a large dog) I felt safe and secure here.

Checking in and checking out was a mess. They gave another person a key to my room. My credit information was used for a different guest. Then I tried to rebook after checking out and the front desk agent wrote my credit card information on a piece of paper for her to do the reservation later, which did not go through to the right account and I had to do it myself online. The rooms are marginally clean, they don’t wipe down the tables or tv remote. The TV in one room didn’t work, the attempt to fix it or do right was minimal.

Our room was clean and smelled nice. Our Housekeeper was Kierra, and she asked if we needed anything twice while there. All the housekeepers were friendly. Kitchen worker was top notch and was available to multiple people who needed help the entire time we were having breakfast. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were having a couples night and the front desk staff assisted me in decorating before my spouse arrived. Could not have done by myself and they were so helpful.

Absolutely blown away by this place! It was a last minute, urgent booking as I couldn’t drive anymore and just needed to sleep. The hotel was clean, quiet, current and comfortable. The bed was GREAT and the shower was HOT with PLENTY of pressure! Josh, at the front desk, was so incredible. He was kind, fast, efficient and clearly enjoys what he does and interacting with people! Definitely a hidden gem!
