We stayed at the Heathman over the Holiday. The hotel is fantastic…especially given how inexpensive the rooms are. The fitness center is amazing and spacious with a perfect variety of equipment. The Tavern is an incredible option for dining. The food was some of the best we had in Portland (both breakfast and dinner). We will definitely stay here again!

I don't think I could have picked a better hotel for us in Portland (and there look to be many great offerings)! This hotel has character in spades and it's location is perfect. The staff was as helpful to and appreciative of us as can be. The room was a little small but charming, very quiet and very clean. The library is a stunning warm place to just sit, relax and/or enjoy eating a little something. I enjoyed everything I ate there. We loved the art throughout the hotel and again, everyone that worked there was just delightful and really seemed to value us. Also, don't miss the sweet (pun intended) little chocolate shop with an entrance right off the lobby!

We had such a wonderful 2 night stay at the Heathman Hotel! We particularly loved the library, where we would sit by the fire, read, and sip on the delicious cocktails made by the restaurant attached.

The Heathman is a delightful haven in Portland! Luxe vibes, cozy library, aesthetic rooms, and a delicious restaurant downstairs (The Tavern). The valet team is incredibly kind and helpful, and the valet parking amenity is a huge bonus in downtown Portland! Located in close proximity to Powell’s Bookstore, Stumptown Coffee, Voodoo Donuts and tons of great shopping.

Stayed at the Heathman Hotel for the weekend. Everyone at the hotel went beyond our expectations to make sure everything was fantastic for our stay. We have always wanted to stay in downtown Portland, and staying at the Heathman was an awesome experience. We will defintely return for another stay.

Hotel was just exceptional in every way! SO attentive, and clean. Truly lovely! However, I would look elsewhere than the attached restaurant the Tavern. While delicious, slow service and well drinks exorbitantly expensive.
