We stayed here in order to have easy access to the airport. Although we had plumbing issues in our room, the problem was immediately addressed and we were well compensated. Even though some carpeted public areas could have been cleaner, the affordability, cleanliness of the room, & ample well lit parking made our stay well worth it. I was surprised being close to the airport and highways, it was quiet enough for a good nights sleep.
Never passed the check in process. Booked 2 nights because my house is being refinished and I can’t be inside, took my chances booked this place through hopper. First Scott the super sketchy receptionist asked for my id and credit card (Okay, normal procedure at thousands of hotel/motel I’ve been to), then he went on checking my address and all of a sudden changed his request to cash deposit of $200. I have money and not stupid, i can pay but $200 deposit on a poop motel like this sounds steep. Sure i wont mind paying it’s standard procedure in the fine print, but asking for cash is an obvious starter case of scamming. Scott the genius had a cc machine right in front of him, but refused to take debit deposit. I won’t give a dime of cash to this fool, using my card i can still dispute when they initiate their scam. Anyway i walked away, and decided to just sleep in my new spacious car. FYI the reservation cost is nothing to me, but it is currently being disputed through my cc company. I’ll get my money back I’m sure. If you belong here than you be ok, if you look like you don’t belong they will scam you. Tried to save money ended up getting the true Portland experience. Another example of how pathetic every component of this city. Starting with your local homeless shelter aka Super 8 Portland Airport. Avoid this place if you know you don’t belong here. Just don’t try not worth the saving.…
So worn out! Lamps have rust on them, cigarette burn marks in the arm chair, smelled like nasty old smoke, desk chair was frayed across the top. Bathroom was OK, recently redone, but not enough to ever stay here or another Super 8 again. I'm so sorry to have to say that.
Needs improvement and retraining of some staff members. Night crew was on the verge of rudeness, very nonchalant regarding no beverages in the vending machine. Banana, yogurt, health breakfast bar, juice and coffee, does not make a breakfast.
Full of Black Mold so downstairs room are full of it. I had roaches in my room crawling on the mirror, look like the sheets had bed bug blood on them,my shower head barely spit water out. Staff is awfu
Very unhappy and would like a refund. Please advise staff of the unsanitary condition. Please contact manager to advise of the poor conditions and unsatisfied conditios of the room and bathroom. Thank you
Dirty bathtub, dirty coffee pot, moldy yogurt in breakfast area cupboard Staff was friendly Shuttle was accommodating and easy and clean Would I return back?no one said sorry or offered reimbursement of any kind- only a ‘thank you for letting us know’ was said -
I stayed here because I was flying into Portland and catching the Amtrak train the next day. It was great because there was a free shuttle from the airport, and the next day there is a bus stop right there where I could take public transport to union station. The staff were really nice. It was clean, and I felt comfortable there. I’m glad I stayed there. It’s not fancy or new, but the price seemed reasonable.
Unfit to stay exposed wireing, microwave extremely dirty staff unwelcoming, no morning amenities furniture cracked and peeling, not stocked properly, Not handicapped assemble ,no help with luggage, trash behind furniture.
Mold on the bathroom ceiling, rusted mismatched furniture, stained bed covers and a room that smelled of marijuana . The vent in the bathroom was not vented to the outside. It was covered with mold and dirt. Not acceptable.
