No water in back of toilet tank, bad front desk service: charged a $150 deposit not disclosed and had to return to front desk as thought was overcharged— person there assumed I knew——- I have never been charged a deposit like that and am world traveler, requested an extra blanket and was told that was not possible until morning and he knew we were only staying one night, (hotel not full and we checked in after 8PM so surely he could have taken one from a vacant room), cigarette burns in bedding, loud noise from room next door…
I've stayed at this location many times before and never had a problem. But the hotel has been neglected and I will not be staying here again. And will not recommend to anyone I know. The price they charge I would expect better accommodation
Beats the prices of downtown. could use a little updating but for the price, the room was clean enough and the air conditioner worked. Pool not functioning nor was the restaurant. but there is a good airport cafe right across the street and a Starbucks close by. Grounds around the hotel and the pool area could use some attention.
Bathroom was large, clean no mildew, room was spacious with a bar/nook , fridge, sink & microwave. Although it was only two of us, the wall divider between the two beds was nice had there been others staying. Lots of towels, small shampoo & conditioner & bars of soap if needed. Carpet looked new, no odor in room, we were greeted by a nice man at front desk late evening. Beds were very comfortable. We really liked the room, and price was fair.
There were multiple changes that were not noted while making the reservation: no airport shuttle (but park out front advertising they had one), the pool was not open (even though it was the first photo on the advertisement), no restaurant onsite, no coffee in the lobby as shown online. All of this was besides the fact the room was very unflash, having furniture that was literally cut in half in the room. On the up side, the only upside the mattress was comfortable.
CATALYTIC CONVERTER STOLEN! DO NOT STAY HERE. I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. We parked our car for 9 hours while we slept and in that time had our catalytic converter stolen in their parking lot. No cameras, no security, no protection for their guests. You sign your life away with multiple fee threats if you dare smoke your weed pen here but they can allow this to happen on their property, and that’s ok.
It’s not worth it. This place is one of the worst motel/hotels I have ever seen. We couldn’t even stay there one night without leaving. Trust the reviews when they say this place is horrible. I wish I had paid more attention to the written reviews more than the overall rating. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Stay anywhere else.
This place has questionable reviews but it was affordable and dog friendly and we decided to try it anyway for a last minute trip to Portland. It’s in a horrible isolated industrial area with zero walkability for starters. It looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s which is always a nice feature (that was a sarcastic comment). The door we were told to use to access the building our room was in would not work 50% of the time and there were no other entrances nearby. Half of our attempts to enter were assisted by other guests coming out which is never a good thing if other guests don’t know who is supposed to be there and who isn’t so are just letting anyone in. The halls smelled of stale smoke even though every room we walked past had no smoking signs on them. All downstairs windows look like they have bars in the windows which I’ve only ever seen at questionable hotels and/or in questionable locations so didn’t give me much hope in the way of safety nor quality. Our room had wiring showing from behind the wall in the bathroom with a fan that definitely did not help clear the immense condensation that appeared after a warm, not hot, shower. The sheets and blankets had holes in them. We found an unidentified loose pill and one of those floss sticks on the floor of our room in places that should’ve been very easily visible and vacuum friendly to the cleaning staff which tells me no one actually really cleaned this room before we got there. Thank god we found both before our dog did. He could’ve potentially gotten really sick at the least, OD’d at the worst. My partner found broken glass outside a building the front desk staff later told us was “decommissioned”. When we let the front desk staff know about the pill and the fact that a dog could’ve eaten it, we received a deadpan “apology” and a passing comment about speaking with housekeeping about it. We got a $20 refund for it. $20. That’s it. We were there for 2 nights so I assure you we spent FAR MORE than the $40 total it costs to have a dog with us and I assure you it would’ve cost the hotel significantly more than the meager $20 they so graciously gave back if our dog had eaten that pill and something that happened to him. We have a small dog - that pill could very well have been detrimental. A $20 refund for this experience is an absurd joke. I will never, ever recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances.…
DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Car broken into - manager was NOT helpful- he said there were so many breakins EVERY NIGHT that they don't even keep a record of them every night nor do they report them anymore-- He just shrugged it off, like no big deal-- ie: so what- your car was busted up - I don't care - big deal-- We will NEVER book here again - you might as well put a note on your car saying "go ahead and bust up our car- no one cares and you can go free because there is no SECURITY or cameras and the manager won't report ANY stolen cars or busted up cars!
I booked the Park & Fly option, and while I was gone for a long weekend, my car was stolen. It was parked 6 spaces away from the front door and lobby. Staff gave me a blank look and handed me the phone number for the police non-emergency number so I could submit a theft report. No effort at apology, assistance or refund of the price I paid to leave my car in what I thought as going to be a secure location. Strongly advise you look elsewhere - do not leave your vehicle at this location!
