We stopped in Portland for 1 night while on a road trip and half of the reason for our visit was the fact that I really wanted to stay in a tiny house. Caravan turned out to be a perfect choice! We chose our house (Pacifica) based on the beautiful details - maybe not the greatest criteria, but worked! The design is gorgeous, I loved the stained glass and wood exterior.
We got check in instructions via email, everything was very straight forward. The house had everything we needed- pots and plates, utensils and good coffee and tea, lots of blankets.I appreciate the fact that all the kitchen and bathroom products were organic/ fair trade and natural. The sleeping loft was very comfortable, bathroom spacious (Pacifica is wheelchair accessible, so the shower is huge!) and the whole space cozy.
Caravan is located in a neat neighbourhood, with an excellent vegan restaurant next door, and lots of bookstores within walking distance.
Honestly, we didn’t want to leave!
I hope we can go back at some point and try out the rest of the tiny houses in the hotel.

I stayed two nights in Pacifica. It was a fun alternative to staying in a hotel. The tiny house was clean, instructions were easily accessible, and there was everything I needed for my two nights. I especially appreciated the keyless access to both the property and the house. The codes were sent via email, and the COVID-safe check in was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would definitely stay again!

We just finished a single night at the Tiny House Hotel. Checkin was a breeze and we were easily able to find street parking. We were greeted by Ruby the dog who hung out on my lap for a while and begged for petting. What a cutie. We stayed in the Amazing Mysterium. Super cute and all we needed.
Great location! We walked up and down Alberta looking at shops and restaurants. Ate dinner at McMenamins and breakfast at Pine City Biscuits. Oh my! Had the biscuit with chicken and the apple butter which was like nothing I have ever had. The Grilled Cheese Grill was closed or would have tried that.
We stayed plenty warm and there are ear plugs if you need them but we didn’t. Maybe on a weekend. We didn’t really see any other people in our caravan. This would be so fun to have a group and hang out in the center area and have s’mores.

This novel place to say is an absolute gem. Full of charm and character, and a fantastic place to stay for those who want something a little different to the four walls of a traditional hotel room.

Is is ideally situated in a really cool neighbourhood with lots of amazing eateries within walking distance.

I’d definitely stay again!

We lived our night at the tiny house. Safe and clean and great communication. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Not everything in the area was open yet but we found enough and brought food back to eat in the courtyard. Would recommend staying here for something different.

I stayed in Skyline, it was such a cute property and I've been obsessed with tiny homes so this was a great way to stay in one as a trial.
The property was secure and I felt very safe staying there on my own. What a nice change from the usual hotel!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Skyline tiny house, and it was like the grown-up version of staying in a magical pillow fort. The lower level bed was super cozy and surrounded by fairylights. All the amenities were great, and there were so many great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. I thoroughly recommend!

Was not impressed with our stay. Now the concept is very cool, the design of the space from the artful metal gates, painted common area, metal flower sculptures is very cool. It is a nice place to go for a tour but not to stay overnight. Not worth the money ($125) for overnight (just pay the $10 for the tours they provide and enjoy). We had to pay $25 extra for our little dog to stay there and when we arrived they removed the rug from our room which was like the only cozy thing. It was very cramped and there were ants. It was very noisy, as unlike the tiny houses you see on blogs on a nice piece of peaceful property, this "hotel" was in the middle of the Alberta district and near a bar. If you are in your early 20s and want to try a tiny house and be in a hip young neighborhood then this might work for you - if you can spare the $125 plus tax (and do not bother bringing your dog). We could have stayed at an awesome boutique hotel in Portland via hotels.com with our dog (and with having a rug) for the same price.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the tandem for a week in early October on our first trip to Portland. We had a great time and the tiny house hotel was a big part of that! The location is amazing--walking distance to delicious restraunts and fun bars. We cooked our own breakfasts in the kitchen and stored snacks and lunches in the fridge. It was plenty spacious for us--big storage loft for our bags and a dresser and drawers in the trundle bed for our clothes. Nice little table for eating or playing cards (thoughtfully provided in the room). We rented bicycles and were able to easily get anywhere and everywhere in the city without a car. There are several bus lines very close by which we used as well. We loved the outdoor area which had comfortable chairs and a fire pit (and s'mores supplies)--we enjoyed chatting with the other guests in the evenings. The whole outdoor area is secure behind a locked gate so we felt safe leaving our rental bikes out there despite it being in a busy location. Last, but certainly not least, we loved meeting the owners, Deb and Kol. They gave us numerous tips of places to check out and were super quick to respond with any (minor) issues that arose. They made us feel really special, like we were their house guests, not just customers. STAY HERE!! You won't regret it!!!

I hate to review this place poorly, as it really is super charming, unique and well situated. The caravan we stayed in (The Caboose) was clean, surprisingly well appointed (fridge, hot plate, shower etc) and cozily decorated, and the neighborhood is no doubt awesome, with great cafes, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Our issue was with the external noise levels, which, even with the provided white noise machine playing at full blast and ear plugs in, we just simply couldn't sleep through. There was shrieking, and laughing from an adjacent bar until 4am! I'm sure for novelty factor, it is so enjoyable to stay here, but if you are a light sleeper it is likely to be your worst nightmare. To be fair to the THH, they DID warn of loud noise levels, but only on an informational email I got sent after booking and having had to pay the full balance. Maybe I am just too old for this type of place (I probably would've loved it in my 20's when I would have planned to be awake all night partying anyways!) but I honestly can't recommend it now. Sorry Tiny House Hotel, I'm sure plenty of heavy sleepers love you!

I can't remember specifically - but I called and spoke with someone on their team using the phone number off the website with a similar question. They were very helpful; i think it depends on the demand they already have for your specific dates.

Go to their actual website. You can check availability and make reservations from there. I think they have some 2 night minimums, but email them if you want only 1 night. They made arrangements for us.

We stayed in the role poly and I think it was 135$ I was willing to pay that for the awesome experience of this amazing place!! You really just have to do it! In the summer they even have live music in the courtyard. VERY good live acoustic music. I have to go back for that.
