This is decent for the price. The beds are comfy. Unfortunately the housekeepers will knock on your room door at 10am, that's 1 hour before check out and if you don't respond, they literally will try to walk into your room

They should be a little more considerate that some guests may be trying to get those last minutes of sleep.

Also other guests slamming doors in the middle of the night should Not be tolerated.

Suggestion to future guests, Bring Ear plugs!

First, I pulled in and I didn't know if this was a motel or a halfway house. There were some people wandering around in the parking lot and at times I felt unsafe. I looked in the distance and they had a pile of broken furniture in the back. I went inside to check in and they had a sign on the door that stated go to the window outside because of COVID. Did the staff have COVID or was it an old sign? I went to the window outside and waited more than 10 minutes for someone to come. In the meantime, there were people being checked inside. I was confused. I finally got my room and then I went back to my car to grab my things. Then the front desk clerk came running out and told me they gave me the wrong room. I followed him through the door with the sign about COVID. He gave me another room. The hallway didn't look finished with the baseboard out. I went inside my room and there was no chair at the desk, the AC panel was missing with bear metal showing, and the remote had no batteries. I went to the front desk again and they gave me a new remote. After programming the tv for about 10 minutes because the remote was not originally programmed, to my dismay, the screen was broken. I could only see half of the television show. I went back to the front desk and he said he would send a maintaintenace man to look at it. I waited and waited some more. No one ever showed. I wanted to call the front desk, but there was no phone in the room. I went to the front desk again, but there were things that were blocking the door. I didn't want to go outside to the window because I felt unsafe, so I just watched half a screen of the programs on the television. There were also no garbage cans, so I just left my trash on the counter. The bed was so-so with the top blankets full of stains. I've stayed in a lot of places and this place was the worst place I ever stayed at! I wouldn't send my dog to this place.

Zero amenities. No pool. No breakfast. Mountains, literalountains of trash and sketchy people. Room was dirty. Only consolation was the door looked sturdy. Terrifying. And they asked for an additional 60$ deposit at check in.....the room was a violation of all sensibilities....what was I charged a deposit to protect?

This was my first stay at the Evergreen and will be my last. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. While check-in was easy, the rest of the hotel is a dump. Everything is outdated. Clientelle and bums were in and out of the hotel all night. My phone rang three times and the door was knocked on twice around three or four am. Turned out to be a meth-head looking for a score. I've got nothing good to say. It was cheap and near the airport though.

If I could give zero, it would still be too generous. To keep it short. Cockroaches, shoddy craftsmanship, limited maintenance, overcharged for an extra day, in the middle of gang, drug and sex operations. But other than that, it was great. If you go, don't go outside after dark. Not safe, per multiple uber drivers.

Some rooms have tvs while others don’t, they’re rooms with no curtains and or way to have privacy from the outside! Staff at front desk has given away my deposit one time to random person & not really sure what even happened with my belongings that were in the room since I was “checked out” a day EARLY unbeknownst to me! There is trash outside windows and dog poop every where! People are sleeping in their cars and homeless people are digging in the trash cans! What sucks is that this hotel has A LOT of potential but they’re being failed by whoever is running the hotel now! Very unfortunate

The front of the motel, from the street seemed okay. The check in was outside, because you’re not allowed in the lobby. After checking in, we went around the corner, and saw meth addict, after meth addict. Zero parking in the parking lot. Cars were double parked. Everyone was awake at almost midnight, and it looked like they were all waiting for a fresh shipment of heroine.

We drove to the back of the parking lot, and then headed out, but not before letting them know that we weren’t going to stay. Legitimately felt fearful for our safety, and I keep a pistol on me. They should not advertise as a motel, or hotel. It’s a drug house. Thank goodness that the voters of Portland, voted to decriminalize drugs. Looks like it’s working out well.

Without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Druggies everywhere, trash and cigarette butts along with a few needles. This place should be shut down. The room was totally beat up and door didn't lock. I left within a hour of staying I was going to use the shower but mold and there was a drug needle in the bathroom. Avoid this place!

Worst experience ever in my entire 69 years. Would have left but everything was full due to an ice storm and loss of electricity. The first room we were given didn't even have a working bathtub. Seriously? Next room things worked better. The especially worked for the cockroaches. Rough part of town, don't walk around by yourself in the dark. Scary looking patrons.

This hotel runs a METH LAB.
We ended up here because Priceline screw us over our hotel reservation and at 1 am this was the only hotel with rooms.
The front desk people where shady- the overall look of the hotel is BAD- the smell is bad there is some prostitution on the area so it is an in and out motel.
The worst part is when at 3 am we where woken up by these fumes of industrial chemicals that hurt our thoughts and pinched our eyes. Someone was cooking meth! we had to get some wet towels in the door put a chair and prey no explosion would take place.
If you are a meth addict this is your place!
I really wish the Police would shut down this place before it explodes and kills someone.
If you are stuck in this hotel the following advice:
Sleep with your cloths on- dont unpack. Get a towel and soak in water and put it under the door so that way the fumes are less likely to get into your room in the middle of the night and turn on the AC unit. Keep to yourself!!!
