The hotel room is reasonably outfitted with an aged fridge and microwave, and a bathroom that might have been contemporary in the 70's. The room was clean if somewhat decrepit. As such it is a fine budget room, and met my expectations.
Unfortunately what did not meet my expectations was the staff, who appear to be a family who live there. I should have been cued to problems shortly after checking in, when one of them banged on my door. I was asked who extra I had let in to my hotel room. The answer was no one, but this level of distrust was strange, and continued throughout the night and into the morning. Every time I left the room or returned I was nearly verbally assaulted, and it bordered almost on paranoia.
Furthermore, I asked for a late checkout which is a fairly standard request, and is typically granted on weekdays and when the hotel is not full. It was obvious from their 'Vancancy' sign and a perusal of the parking lot that they were about half-full, but they refused.
I then requested if I could store my bags with them for an hour, as I had some business to attend to before getting on the road. Again, this is a fairly typical request, but I was told 'no' flatly.
I'm not sure what I did to engender such hostility from this family. I paid my bill, was a quiet tenant, and generally consider myself a personable individual. I'm sorry I had this experience, and I'm sorry for whatever experiences this family has had that has led them to treat guests with such distrust and hostility. Still, I could not recommend this motel with good conscience to someone.

I stay in Motels 80 times a year. This is the most pitiful place I have ever seen. My non smoking room was full of smoke and the manager walked in quickly to remove it along with his coat. The carpet was rotted and smelled of cat spray . I asked for my money back on a two day reservation and was denied. The owners wife screamed at me that there was nothing wrong with it. But in fact I almost passed out in the 5 minutes I was in the room. I drove away and called the card company to remove the charge. Three days later they tried bill me again. Your card number is not safe here. I canceld mine right away.

Beds are disgusting the place is just nasty this place it is a prostitutes and gang members the rooms are disgusting the TVs don't work and the door is hardly shut and lock

I booked two nights at the Aaron motel through booking.com put in my credit card information the debit card information actually and when the deal was done I paid for two nights to booking.com. I proceed to the hotel and they insisted that I hadn't paid anything even though I can show them on my phone very admit about me not paying to charge me again tonight $180 which is 20 bucks more than they advertise for. I had $80 cash and it took 127 off my card my receipt reflection no cash only $127 so that's the setup the rooms are cheesy at best they're clean but they just old place and then when I complained booking.com probably said oh it looks like he's been charged twice statement with your best logo on it and we would say what they would do I think that I think that they just stall install until the consumer of the customer is so frustrated that they can't continue on with all the red tape and crap to get the money back. But I need this money I can't do without $207 I would have never even gone out to a hotel I stayed in a tent for $207....
The worst part is it feels like a scam feels like they just take advantage of people on purpose and they know exactly what they're doing there's no mistake they hit this planned premeditated theft.
I would nt use booking.com again if you paid me. And as for the air and motel in Portland Oregon they really sucked you beware
