We cheered them on there then walked around the corner to grab a cup of coffee from Capital One Cafe, then across the street, from there, to Pioneer Square to get breakfast at the Fried Egg Food Truck.
The Pearl District is a short walk away, with a plethora of shops and restaurants (don't let the line and Salt and Straw deter you from the Best Ice Cream you will ever eat).
Received truly excellent service upon arrival - Jordan at the front desk deserves a billion kudos for her warm welcome and for how well she took care of us! Upgraded us to the top floor, got our parking situation...
They did give me an alternative, walking down to Pioneer Courthouse Square to pick up the Max, which we did.
Big room, equiped with full kitchen, and bathroom, confortable bead, air condition, big tv, free wi fi, table and chair for work.
The hotel is located in SW Portland, conveniently near public transportation as well as the artsy Pearl District, Powell's Books, and some great restaurants like Jake's Famous Crawfish, the Zeus Palace, and Cheryl...

My sisters and I recently enjoyed a visit to Portland but the PelicanStay in Portland Pearl District accommodation we had booked was disappointing. The condition of the suite did not present as the suite/apartment that was advertised. Upon our arrival, the suite smelled heavily of bleach. We had to open the door and windows to air out the strong toxic odor for several minutes. The blinds in both the living room and larger bedroom were both broken and would not close, therefore there was no privacy from the building across the street. The mattress in the pull-out sofa was DISGUSTING! It was heavily stained and provided no mattress support, only sharp protruding springs. Therefore this not provide a sleep space as advertised. The suite walls were all heavily marked and the baseboards were filthy, especially in the bathrooms. Dirt and dust was also noticed underneath the beds and under the furniture as well. There was no hairdryer in the suite as was said to be included. During our stay we tried several times to contact a representative from PelicanStay, but no one responded to our complaints. Since returning home, I have also written to the operations department of Pelican Stay in Portland Pearl District regarding our disappointment, but we have not had a response. While the location of this property is great, I would not recommend it based on the condition of the suite and the lack of a property manager who could address our discomforts during our stay.…

Right next to PSU! Perfect place to stay when moving family to college. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Comfortable apartment with all amenities. Loud, as it is a city, but windows are noise proof.

Booked with them directly since tripadvisor suggested it to get 15% off. In so doing got a rate that was significantly less (about 25% off). Sent in credit card information and next daythe answer was so sorry that was for two days not the four days you asked for! As I told them it feels like bait and switch to me, offered a 7% rate reduction from price quoted not even their 15% per tripadvisor. Not sure if going to tske will have to check out other venues but certainly leaves me a raw feeling in my mouth to start with them!
