The motel rooms are a little out of date but they are working on the rooms one by one to fix them up the staff was very friendly and the neighborhood is just like every other neighborhood there can be good and bad people around as long as u keep to urself then u shouldn't have any problems the other guests stay to themselves all in all i most definitely would stay here again u can't go wrong for the price and the location is also good being how the 205 freeway on ramp is down the road

The courtesy inn is by far the cheapest place to stay that usually has a room available. Up until these last few months the rooms were terrible. I mean straight awful. Falling apart and gross BUT the owner has hired an amazing maintenance guy who is one by one remodeling the rooms. Complete overhaul, and they look 110% better. So I definitely recommend giving this motel a 2nd chance cuz you will be pleasantly surprised

The hotel staff did not hold the reservation. When we arrived on Aug. 1st evening, we were told that they do not have room for us even though they found our reservation in their files. They didn't even apologize. We spent over two hours looking for another hotel, which was probably for the better, because the surrounding area was very disturbing, consisting of numerous drunk people and police officers talking to someone on the other side of the street. Stay away from this place if you are traveling with kids.

I have stayed here many a night. The price is the cheapest around.Service is excellent.Rooms are clean.HBO and high speed internet and air conditioning makes this Motel a affordable stop.Staff very friendly.Bus line is very close.Short run by bus to Max lines (trains) that will take you to most parts of the city.I take walks around the neighborhood and find it safe and friendly.Close to PDX (Air Port).Easy access to freeways. For the money this is your best bet for an enjoyable stay......Tom

I was worried, after reading the other review, about staying here, but I moved ahead with my plans and I was not sorry I did. The room was a little out-dated and it showed its age, but it was clean; what more can you expect for $45 a night? The staff was friendly and the area didn't feel unsafe at all. I didn't hear a peep from neighboring rooms or see anyone questionable around the complex.

I didn't plan ahead and had to settle for this motel, it was only 50 a night but should have checked travelocity. Horrible room, cigarette burns covered tub and toilet back! never seen anything like it, bed coverings had cigarette burns, almost left after 20 minutes. Tiny TV. Obviously people were living out of this place, thin walls, lot of drug talk. Never again. Went to Rodeway inn down the road next night. It was like the Hilton. LOL
